Tomorrow night will probably be carry out because I got called to sub :teacher: and DS has drivers ed at 6:00........so carry out will be the easiest :rolleyes1. Then it'll be back to cooking on Thursday . I can hardly believe it's Wed already tomorrow....this week is kinda going by fast .

AI fan here...so I'm not sure what else is on tonight....but I am startin to be a fan of trash tv!!! :rotfl: ...As I have said been watching BBB (Sheli love that name:laughing: )...Housewives of NYC might be next...:confused3

Channing Its addicting...first one trash show...now I'm looking for more:rotfl:

Mare WTG on the Jet Blue credit..cool that the housewives live in your neighborhood!

Maxie Glad that your DHs sight is continuing to improve and glad too that he got the OK to go on the trip....:goodvibes

Deb I was wondering where you were....thought maybe you were off watching trash tv too....;) Have a good day subbing tomorrow...

Kelly Thanks for the ME info.....even though I am not a big fan...I'll take a town car over ME any day...JMO...

If I had a whole disney day to myself I wouldnt budge from my cabana:snooty: ....I'd get some magazines...a good book...a nice frozen drink (non alcoholic of course!);) and plenty of sunscreen....

Hope everyone is having a good night...off to watch some more AI...:flower3:

Chan: Wow what are the chances of gyro night! We rarely have them as we have to trek all the way to Queens for them. But DH was really in the mood for Greek food and took the drive over the bridge.

Brook: Isn't the Backstage Safari very similar to the Wildlife Excursion you did last year? After reading your review, I sent DH and DS5 on it, they loved it. It was really funny how we must of been on the safari trail the exact same time as we have the same photos of all the animals in the same positions! :rotfl: I went on the regular safari with DS2 right after I left them for their tour.

Maxie: Glad to hear your DH is making progress and got the OK for your vacation.

.

nope, the Backstage safari is different. It takes hours and you go by all the barns and care facilities on foot. You see the kitchens where all the food prep is done and how they work with the animals and care for them behind the scenes. You don't go on the safari itself...
At least thats the way I read into it as I haven't done it before.
I really enjoyed the safari thing with Savannah.. a lot more than I thought I would have. That's why I was debating doing the full tour.

segway?!? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: cause I am the most clumsy person you will ever meet in your entire life:rotfl2:
knowing my luck I would slip and fall into the lake with the dang thing:lmao:

or roll over your own toe....... you know how that toe of your has a target on it ;)

Brook: That makes more sense now. I didn't read the info on the Backstage Tour. DH just told me about seeing some of that stuff, but they were on the bus. I guess it's just a glimse into the care of the animals on that tour. I think all their tours sound interesting. Tough choice when you have the whole day to spare there's a lot to choose from.

BlueDeb: I only know NYC Housewife Jill's building. They showed it on the first episode last year and DH just screamed DO YOU REALIZE WHERE SHE LIVES! Yeah, in the Starbucks building how cool! I'd love to have Starbucks in my lobby! DH was more impressed with her Bentley and driver! :rotfl2:

Mare I would be happier with the easy access to the coffee (DD in my case!!)than the Bentley and the driver too....:rotfl:

I wonder if the Driver has a latte waiting for her in the Bentley

:rotfl: probably.....!!

BTW the sheet thread is up to page 13 and still going strong....now they're talking about how clean the carpets and bath tubs are....:headache: I dont want to know!!!! I think I like that phrase....Ignorance is bliss....:)

:thumbsup2 Me too, although I would love to have a driver. Maybe in another life.:rotfl2:

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Chan, yes seeing the big E is very good news. 2 weeks ago when he went he could't even see the chart. You can't fly for a couple of months after this surgery, so for awhile I thought I may have to find someone else to go with me.:rotfl2:

I'm watching AI and I just remembered, one of my coworkers just got back from Disney. She saw Paula Abdul at the GF. They were there for dinner and saw her in the lobby.

Maxie You know that if you needed to fill that empty airline seat I would have sacrificed and come along....;) ...thats what GF friends are for....

How neat that your friend saw Paula...did she talk to her...she seems like she would be pretty friendly...:confused3

I knew I wouldn't have any trouble finding someone to go.:lmao: No, she didn't get a chance to talk to her, but she said Paula was being very friendly ,talking to a lot of people and signing autographs and having her picture taken.

Good morning everyone. I watched the biggest loser last night (I love that show) and was very happy with the outcome. She is doing so good at home, I was very surprised.

Kid/Adult ticket question. A lady at work asked me a question yesterday and I'm not sure the answer. Her family is going to WDW in April. Her daughter will be turning 10 while they are down there. Her DH bought a child ticket for her daughter for the whole trip. She is wondering if they need to upgrade the ticket after her birthday or if they can leave it at the child price. She has already signed up on the website for her birthday, so they will know that she will be 10. She was just trying to be prepared before she gets there. If anyone has had this happen, what did you do? Thanks, Lisa.

I am not really sure about the rules and regulations here but if she is doing a meal plan she may want to go ahead and upgrade no matter what. The kids meals are puny and they don't get the big dessert. I am sure I could have snuck my Ryan in as under 10 as he is small but he eats like a horse. He really appreciated eating from the adult menu.
EDIT TO ADD: he was 10 at the time

Morning :surfweb: (thats diet coke in my mug LOL)

I am just back from taking DS to school and let me say it is just down right disturbing how some parents send their kids to school. These kids have not had a bath or even a hair brush touch their head in a while. AND it is in teh 50's this morning and these kids had on shorts and ss shirts. One teacher wrapped a little girl up in her jacket. :sad1: Sorry had to vent a little!

ANYWAYS!

CHAN!I am so needing a day at the cabana :cool2: We got a new mattress topper and it is so plush and our sheets are red and I told DH that it reminded me of the cabana lounge chairs. Well I guess since that is the last thing i really said before i drifted off to sleep I had sweet dreams of the cabana and fluffy drinks and i was skinny! :woohoo: Chan you were there but you were talking like FD! :rotfl:

OK gotta go run and make sure the girls are eating!

HI Lisa!

I am pretty sure that if you arrive with a child then they remain a child through out the trip........... we had that issue with my girls having a birthday on our trip last year and we explained it to the lady helping us make our reservation and she said we could have all 6 of us in one room since they showed up as 1 and 2 years old.

If you booked a package i don't think there is any way they can make you upgrade your park tickets.

Hope that helps!

Have a good day GALS!!

GF gal missing her GF 09 friends bad :sad1:

Good Morning Everyone
30 days until spring.:woohoo:

My boss went skiing, so I am off today and tomorrow.

Mandy, I can't believe how some people dress their kids to go out in public. My DS always looked nice even if we were not going anywhere. Now is a different story.:rotfl2: I have no control over what he wears.:scared1: A cabana day sounds lovely, complete with fluffy drinks.:thumbsup2 We are supposed to get snow later today, but it is supposed to change to rain here. Doesn't look like Kelly and Siobhan will be so lucky.

Lisa, Your friends won't have to upgrade their ticket. If you were a child when you first used it you will remain a child for the whole trip.
