Afternoon All 
Chan......Welcome to the "MOTHER OF TWO TEENS" club
. I've been in the club for a year now 
. DS#2 will be 14 in a month with DS#1 becoming a 16 year old TEEN DRIVER this summer 
. We'll have to form a support group between us so we don't all go nutso 
. Glad the party went well 
. Sorry about Jojo's friend having to go home in the middle of the night 
. Sounds like you'll have a nice quiet spring break 
. Are you really sending the kids to AZ 
? I think you need another GALS ONLY GF TRIP

Mandy......That plates sounds adorable
. I'm sorry your Lowes trip didn't go so well . Isn't it amazing how kids attitudes can change at the drop of a hat???? And without any notice 
. I hope you're able to get back there and get all the stuff you need

MANDY - I forgot about the red boa!! I'm sure it went over well!!
The plate sounds cute. My kids have made me a lot of that over the years at our local pottery place and they always wind up in the kitchen, except for a frame in my bedroom! I love it!
Chan - Are you and DH going on a trip by yourselves over spring break?? That would be fun!
Dawn - If you get pulled over, you could distract the cop by asking him if he knows FREAK DOG!!

I finally got around to making my ADR's. I was debating if I should let IPO do it or call myself. This morning I called Disney dining and was on hold and told due to high call volume there would be a longer than usual wait. So I e-mailed IPO. They got back to me quickly and I e-mailed them what I wanted and to book the KTTK tour. I told them I was not comfortable giving a credit card number in an e-mail and would they please call me. OK so far, they called me. First she said that no discounts were available for the tour. I told her that there were and what they were. She put me on hold and said she would check. We got the 20% with the Disney Visa. When I got home there was an e-mail with my itinerary. They have me booked at Narcoossees at 6 pm and the Wave at 6:10 pm on the SAME DAY. Oh and for a party of 6. We are a party of 2. I just e-mailed them back and am waiting for a response again. Maybe it would have been easier to sit on hold most of the morning. Now I know why I usually do this myself.

Hi gals! Sorry I have been MIA..it has been nuts here since I got home.
Alex (15yo) had THE FLU...real influenza super sicko kid. He missed 4 days of school, and lots of school work. He is finally feeling a little better today, but is asleep for the 2nd nap since 8am.
My dad's 60th b-day party is tomorrow and I am in major party planning mode with my mom. UGH! 50+ people and she wants to do all the cooking...she is nuts!
I am finally feeling better, air travel, 5 hrs of sleep a night, and lots of champagne (when I didn;t spill it) combined to make me feel like crap for 4 days after I got home. The trip was fun!!! Coming home sucked!
Work was nuts, the last days before vacation means every teached gives big projects, so my room was packed. 2 days I didn;t even get to check my e-mail until after noon. I am usually bored, not this week.
Anyway- Happy Valentines day all!
Chan- I hope Z is feeling better today, and welcome to the 2 teens club. It has some interesting moments. (There were 2 girls hugging my Matthew after the school dance last night I am not ready for that!!)
Mandy- Your plate sounds beautiful. I love those gifts from the heart. I got a card this year. No gifts because I told him my gift was the trip last weekend. And I am FINE with that...maybe he will gift me another trip next year.
Dawn- don't worry, I drove around with expired plates for 6 months before anyone noticed, thankfully the officer was a friend...he told me to get it done by tomorrow...SO I DID!!! LOL
ok- back to slicing and dicing for tomorrow...ttyl!
ps- did i tell you that Keith stripped the wallpaper in our bedroom while I was gone. I was stunned, and thrilled. There is a nice blue color under it that is almost the exact color I wanted to paint....only some touch-up needed. YEAH!

DH just asked me if I'd like to go out to dinner again...because its Valentines Day...dinner out two nights in a row...oh yeah he's trying real hard to be my valentine....

I am always starting a new diet on Monday...any Monday...usually lasts until Tuesday!!!! Recently I was doing pretty well staying on track...that was until I went to Disney...having that nasty stomach flu gave me a jump start.... Now that we have alot of candy around....I'll say I'm going to start a new diet once all of the candy in gone..... wish me luck!!!
My next trip is during bathing suit weather...

yeah...my mom is flying here and then turning around and flying back with L and J....and same thing on the return. She must really want to see the kids bad.
No...I am going nowhere with DH. With the no raises at all this year...crummy to nothing bonuses...stocks worth nada ....it will be a sad icky year I think. I am preparing myself for that anyway. But on the flip side, at least DH has a job..we have a nice house...we have our health. (have to include that health) But this whole new world is going to put me in a new mindset. I know money isn't everything...but I enjoy it. I love it actually.
Shel..I hope he feels better soon!!! That is terrible!! Stay healthy!

Deb, I got another e-mail from IPO, they apologized for the errors. They said they changed the Wave to Sunday May 9, and changed us to a party of 2. May 9th is a Saturday. I open up the attachment with my itinerary. They changed the date for the Wave to Saturday, May 9, so that is right. The times changed too by a couple of minutes which is fine. It is still for a party of 6.
The only thing I ever had IPO book for me before was the WDE. I just don't have the energy right now to contact them again. Maybe tomorrow.

Deb and BlueDeb...I had a great time at lunch...We ate at one of our favorite Italian places here in Naperville..UMMMMMM and we had a window seat so we were able to enjoy the view of downtown

I did my online banking and ordered my groceries. Kelly probably went to the grocery store by now, but I'm not that good. I did my shopping in my jammies. I'm going to shower and get the laundry started and go to Targert.
Chan, Things are not really straightened out. They still have us down for a party of 6, not 2. I will e-mail them today and see if they can get it this time. When they called it was from the Contemporary. I know the GF and CR used to share IPO's anyway. In the past some of the calls came from CR and some from GF. I don't know what is going on, but the person I talked to never gave me a name, and she didn't know about a discount on the KTTK tour. I only made 2 ADR's, shouldn't be that difficult.

and take DS out for some practice since it's a nice day 
. Other than that.....not too much going on here .
Maxie.......You would think with only having to make 2 ADRs that they wouldn't scew that up. Atleast they're on the right track with now having the correct date/time for the Wave.....now they just have to get the party number right .
Chan.....Are the girls excited about going to AZ for spring break?? I'm sure they'll have a blast!!!! And you'll get some time for yourself while they're gone. Our spring break is always the last full week in March.......I hope the weather is warm .

Dawn.....Glad it was good . I always feel that way when we go to Maggiano's.........I eat way too much and then the next day I'm still feeling it .
