HI again~
I have been cleaning my room..... i dumped a big box of stationary and thank you cards out while trying to find something on the shelf next to my desk and it has sat there for two days! I cant stand clutter and I am finally getting around to picking it up. Of course then i had to reorganize the shelf that the box sat on when i should have been packing and washing clothes!
I swear I had ADD

.... i need something to keep me on task!
OK I need to vent a little..... Last night at church two kids were wrestling around after youth and it got out of hand and they ended up busting a big glass entry door. Being a youth leader and a nurse i got involved in cleaning up cuts and talking to the kids and their moms. When the incident happened I was still in class with my HS girls and the kids that were wrestling were already being loud and I had stepped out in the hallways to tell them to be quiet and the other adults were standing around not stopping these kids from fighting. Maybe a min later i heard the door break.
Now today one of the kids who got cut behind the ears is complaining of not being able to hear and dizziness. I told both moms last night that i could only clean their kids up with basic first aid and that they might want to have them checked out.
One of the ladies works with my husband and he called me to tell me about her son having the dizziness and she left to take him to the ER. THEN I get a call back and he says she wants the number to our minister of education because she wants the church to pay for the medical treatment. THEN I get a call from the church asking me what happened and I tell them IDK call so so they were standing there letting the kids wrestle I was teaching and only heard the commotion.
I am sorry but those kids were not behaving and they are both problem makers that have moms that are in denial or blame other factors for the kids behaviors instead of cracking the whip. One of these kids flooded a upstairs bathroom at our church when he was 8. The water ran down stairs and the elevator shaft and the mom said that it was leaders fault for not watching him closer.

I don't think the church should pay! If these kids were, say, playing basket ball in the church gym during a church event and twisted a ankle then yes they cover it. But we have incurred a lot of repair expenses due to one of these kids and his twin brother, they busted all the lamps along the walkways and were caught by police then 2 months later broke into the locked choir room and stole money from all the ladies purses, I could go on and on!
Sorry, I just had to vent..... my husband is on the finance committee at our church and we are really struggling to pay the bills (people are not giving as much) and now we have to replace a very expensive door AND this lady wants us to cover her kids medical bills? NO WAY!
Ok Didn't set out to type a novel!
GF Gal who will be on the bus this time tomorrow!
