Hi to everyone else :wave2:.

Deb :upsidedow

I just got off the phone with WDW and they told me I got the package already. I knew I got a good price, but I didn't think I was traveling the right dates for the full package.

My dates are June 27 to June 5 (8 nights), so I guess I am good already!!! But I am going to check again on the 9th is the dates get excited to make sure.

I am so happy I am finally scheduled, I have changed these reservations a million times. My DS's guidance counselor finally called me yesterday and filled me in on the in and outs of High School. So he agreed that these dates would be perfect. I just can't fly out too early on the 27th incase I have to register for summer school!!!!:scared1:

Sheli - forgot to tell you how cute your luggage is!!!! My DD bought the cutest flip flops that would match perfectly last year!!

Hope you gals are having a great time!!!

Deb It is freezing here today too...:scared: I'll let you know how we liked Cape May...:thumbsup2

Annette How nice that you had the package and didnt even know it!! Thats what I call a nice surprise....:) Are you staying at the GF? If so that 4/3 package is a great savings on the room!!!

Maxie I was wondering too how your DH is doing...hoping that more of his sight has returned...I bet you all are freezing too...

Have I mentioned lately that I hate the cold... and winter ...and snow :rotfl:

Waiting for spring to arrive....:flower3: in how many days....:confused3

Mare Is today DSs party in school? Hope he's having a good time...(you need Kristins cupcakes!!)

It's today!! party: My baby is FIVE :bday:

He was so excited this morning and couldn't believe it was his birthday. He kept saying "today, it's today, today is my birthday?". It was so cute. I bought him a birthday button to wear to school today, he loved it. He felt so special. :goodvibes

I was out all day running errands. He wanted milk and cookies for his class party. So I had to run to Costco and buy a case of Horizon Organic Milk in the juice-type boxes and picked up two boxes of chocolate chip cookie. I also went to the bakery and got him a Thomas the Train cake. I kept the cake in the car so he wouldn't see it. He noticed it this morning and it was just precious! He was so excited then said Mommy give me a hug, thank you for such a beautiful cake!!! :goodvibes I had tears in my eyes, he was so appreciative!

He asked if we'll have balloons at his mini-party this evening (just family) so now I have to run out and buy him some balloons. :rotfl:

We're going to order his favorite chinese food for dinner.

Sorry I missed the GF gals! I'm thinking of you! ;)

Annette: Glad you got in on the July 4/3 deal!

Hi and Bye to everyone else! :wave2: The next few days are going to be busy with parties then Sunday we're going to see Mary Poppins on Bdway. I'll try to drive by post :drive: when I can!

Mare-Happy birthday to your son. Sounds like you are going to have a busy but very fun weekend.

Kristin-I've just gone through my Sandra Lee semi-homemade cooking book. I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow and was looking for a few new ideas. I plan on making her six-cheese tortellini, the vanilla cream pie and the banana foster. The best things about her recipes is that I already have most of the stuff at home. I need to get bananas, cheese whiz and tortellini shells. I get tired of making the same ole, same ole each week. I'll try anything new and easy.

Have a good WARM day everyone - Lisa.

Lisa, have you ever tried her lemon turkey cutlets?? They are AWESOME!!!

HI again~

I have been cleaning my room..... i dumped a big box of stationary and thank you cards out while trying to find something on the shelf next to my desk and it has sat there for two days! I cant stand clutter and I am finally getting around to picking it up. Of course then i had to reorganize the shelf that the box sat on when i should have been packing and washing clothes! :rolleyes2

I swear I had ADD :rotfl: .... i need something to keep me on task! ::yes::

OK I need to vent a little..... Last night at church two kids were wrestling around after youth and it got out of hand and they ended up busting a big glass entry door. Being a youth leader and a nurse i got involved in cleaning up cuts and talking to the kids and their moms. When the incident happened I was still in class with my HS girls and the kids that were wrestling were already being loud and I had stepped out in the hallways to tell them to be quiet and the other adults were standing around not stopping these kids from fighting. Maybe a min later i heard the door break. :sad2:

Now today one of the kids who got cut behind the ears is complaining of not being able to hear and dizziness. I told both moms last night that i could only clean their kids up with basic first aid and that they might want to have them checked out.

One of the ladies works with my husband and he called me to tell me about her son having the dizziness and she left to take him to the ER. THEN I get a call back and he says she wants the number to our minister of education because she wants the church to pay for the medical treatment. THEN I get a call from the church asking me what happened and I tell them IDK call so so they were standing there letting the kids wrestle I was teaching and only heard the commotion.

I am sorry but those kids were not behaving and they are both problem makers that have moms that are in denial or blame other factors for the kids behaviors instead of cracking the whip. One of these kids flooded a upstairs bathroom at our church when he was 8. The water ran down stairs and the elevator shaft and the mom said that it was leaders fault for not watching him closer. :sad2: I don't think the church should pay! If these kids were, say, playing basket ball in the church gym during a church event and twisted a ankle then yes they cover it. But we have incurred a lot of repair expenses due to one of these kids and his twin brother, they busted all the lamps along the walkways and were caught by police then 2 months later broke into the locked choir room and stole money from all the ladies purses, I could go on and on!

Sorry, I just had to vent..... my husband is on the finance committee at our church and we are really struggling to pay the bills (people are not giving as much) and now we have to replace a very expensive door AND this lady wants us to cover her kids medical bills? NO WAY!

Ok Didn't set out to type a novel!

GF Gal who will be on the bus this time tomorrow! :drive:

I missed these post!

It's today!! party: My baby is FIVE :bday:

Mare

Happy Birthday to your DS! I love this age, he sounds like such a sweet kid! pixiedust:

I have to say I am TOTALLY jealous that you are going to see Mary Poppins! It is my all time favorite movie and I am DYING to see the Broadway show! I have a friend who goes to NYC every year and she saw it right after it opened and she said it was amazing and at one point cried

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am here, coffee in hand :coffee: It is a bright, sunny day- but COLD!!!! They are calling for 50 degrees this weekend though :cool1: (Looks like that might be about the same as what FL is getting right now :sad2: ) I hope it warms up for the girls!!!!!!!

IT IS SO COLD HERE! It got down in the low 20's last night, some places it got as low as 18, and tonight again the same..... we are under hard freeze warnings which puts our citrus, strawberry and blueberry crops in danger! I grew up in the middle of a orange grove so I know all about what the growers have to do! We still own lots of groves but Mr. George runs it and he stays up all night on nights like last night watching the thermometer and keeping the heating units going and if needed turning on the sprinklers to ice the fruit to protect them.

I guess I wont complain since in FLA we have six weeks of winter, three weeks of spring and fall, forty weeks of summer. :beach:

hey gals we had a great time last night at the Swan...We had a 1bedroom with a king bed for all of us so needless to say we got the room next door for free! Oh and necause of the confusion we missed ESPN so they gave us free room service! You always want to go somewhere with me!LOL.....More later after we check in at where the magic lives!!!!

Mandy I am keeping my fingers (and toes!:rotfl: )crossed that the weather warms up there...

I am a little curious about the church incident ...why are the parents NOT responsible for the damage that their children have done?? Amazing that they think that the church should be responsible for the results of their childrens bad behavior...or maybe their irresbonsilbe parenting....:confused3 Would be a good lesson to learn that you are responible for your own (or in their case your childrens actions...)

Sounds like they dont have a clue... :scared:

More recipes....I have this cook book on my list for my next trip to B&N....I love recipes that call for items I actually do have in the house...or things I have heard of...:rotfl:

Siobhan! Thanks for posting already...Glad you had a good night at the Swan WTG on the free room and room service ( gotta love room service...)...

Sounds like it might have been a little crowded with everyone in ONE king bed...:crowded: :rotfl:

Hope you gals have a great day...especially now that you are and the GRAND....:cheer2:

Totally agree, and I told my husband they (finance committee) need to get to the bottom of the situation and give the parents the bill and say SOL on paying the hospital bills!

I think our church tends to not want to hurt a family's feelings, you know? But these same people have a older kid that is now facing charges of armed robbery and assault and battery of a cop, we ended up having to kick him out of youth a few years ago or require the parents to attend with him. Little twin brothers are growing up to be just like big brother :sad2:

Mandy......What an incident :faint:. There's no way the church should be held responsible for any medical bills on those kids . And not to be harsh....but I think those parents need to be a little more concerned with other things that are going on with their kids rather than worrying about whether or not the church is going to pay some medical bills that were by no means incurred through any wrong doing of the church :rolleyes1. I hope things work out :flower3:.

Siobhan......Glad you all had a good night at the Swan :goodvibes. And congrats on the free room and room service :thumbsup2. Have fun checking into the GF (if you haven't already done so) :). Looking forward to more updates ::yes::.

Deb ;)
