Yes, we did! We bought the minimum (160 pts). They had some great incentives AND DH wanted to buy, soI figured we should go for it! I am super excited, but we probably actually won't use it there a lot. The other resorts use a lot less points for the same thing. It had the longest contract and the lowest maintainence though, so we went for it!

Don't feel bad about the floors; if anyone gets that I would be surprised. DH told me to take a picture of it and see if anyone could guess

WTG on the vacation club . I noticed that in your sig but it didn't even register with me .

Deb Congratulations!! and good luck tomorrow.... keep those eigth graders in line...

Off to cook and get everything ready for tomorrow....maybe DD will be ready before we leave...

Deb, Good luck tomorrow. I know you will be great. DH is doing a lot better, he doesn't have to sleep face down anymore, and he can go back to work next week. He just can't lift anything heavy. His vision is improving slowly, but that is to be expected. Thanks for asking. It has been very cold and windy here and it is supposed too warm up here this weekend too. I hope so, I am so done with this cold weather.

BlueSkies, thanks for asking about DH, see my answer to Deb above. Have a great trip. Hoping the weather will warm up for you. I was 9 when I went to work this morning. I think you may have mentioned something about not liking winter.

Mare, Happy Birthday to your DS. Mine is 23 today. It seems like only last week that he was 5. It does go by so fast.

Mandy, That is awlful about those parents. I agree with everyone else, no way should the church pay for anything. Almost time for the bus to pick you up.

Sheli, Love the luggage. Did you get any funny looks at Logan. They are probably still talking about this crazy GF lady with her minnie ears and luggage.

I am up and can't sleep! DS woke me up when he got in my bed an i normally go back to sleep but I am too excited to sleep. I laid in bed and tried but HS musical 2 songs kept playing in my head!

SO i am gonna go slap one more coat of nail polish on my toes, do my hair, get dressed, make a Walmart run and hit the ATM...... Might wait on the ATM till day light, don't want to spoil a great day by getting robbed !

Hey missing Gals and company....it is finally warm here. We got in at midnight to 39 degree temps and a botched up Swan room. Siobhan to the rescue got them to upgrade us and free dinner too.
The temp wasn't any better in the morning...and we almost died on the ferry yesterday....I swear it was about 35 degrees and so windy thay I am windburnt instead of sunburnt.
We are having a ball...and now that the temp is up and the sun is out it finally feels like Florida instead of Maine.

Hi!!! We are at the Grand Floridian - sitting in the RPC lounge....loving this place!!!!! DUH!

We are laughing until it hurts....and I am in pain now.

Our Swan suite turned out to be a 2 bedroom Grand Suite for super cheap....and then Siobhan worked her magic and got us a $100 room service credit for our "inconvenience" BUT IT WAS INCONVENIENT!!! We arrived after midnight...checked in...got a diff rate than was previously quoted (PER THE SWAN of course because they always do that to me!!!) and...then....the keys didn't work....and they dinked around getting up to fix it....and THEN when they opened the door..the suite was GORGEOUS - BEAUTIFUL - BUT...it had a king bedroom!!! So....then the luggage arrived...and I said...WAIT..we might not be moving in here....but the nice luggage guy said to call down...be a little mean and they will give you whatever you want. OK!! So...we got a 2 bedroom HUGE suite for cheaper than quoted and then the complimentary room service.

We have been having a fabulous time. We have two beautiful deluxe concierge rooms. We went to MK yesterday....and DHS today....and did TSM twice....we just ate at ESPN and taxied back to GF....I think that guy was sorry he picked us up.

WE are having the time of our lives. It feels good to laugh so hard.

We are kind of waiting to see if BS contacts us to meet. I gave her my cell number....waiting.....waiting......hmmm.....we were supposed to have a cabana today but it was mid 60s.....so we hung out at DHS and BW longer than we planned...and now we are relaxing until we get ready for Cali Grille....I will walk out to the pool area and check on the cabanas anyway...soon!

Hope everybody is doing well. We miss ya!

My first day subbing went well . I did have a little trouble with the 6th hour class, but other than that.....things were good........just a little boring .

Hi everyone!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for DS, he's enjoying his never-ending birthday! Today he had a half day of school, so we went to the mall for lunch then rode the carousel I'm exhausted! I did three loads of laundry before 9am!! I was in the laundry room at 6am!! We're relaxing this evening, going to watch Space Buddies movie he got for his bday. Tomorrow's his big party then Sunday - Mary Poppins! I'm really looking forward to it!!!

Kristin: Lemon Turkey Cutlets sound good. Did you see Sandra Lee now has her own magazine? It looks good. I was skimming thru it while on line at Costco the other day. That Mickey backpack is cute! My DS wants the Mickey Waffle maker. I'm waiting for it to go on sale already! It makes mini waffles of all 5 of the characters.

It is quiet around here today, didn't take long to catch up. 42 days until spring. The Red Sox equipment truck left for Florida today. People actually go to Fenway and all of the news stations will film the truck leaving. It is practically a holiday. The first official sign of spring.

Mare, thanks for the birthday wishes for DS. That waffle iron sounds like fun. If my DS saw it he would have to have it. My DS has a mickey waffle iron, sounds like the same one Kristin has. The best part is that he is the one that makes the waffles. Have fun at the party and Mary Poppins.

I am baking DS a birthday cake, didn't have time to do it yesterday. It will not be picture worthy though.

They don't sell them anymore - anywhere! I've heard the last place to sell them was QVC a few years back. We have a belgium waffle iron that rotates (the prof one) it makes amazing waffles. We keep in at the country house and have them every Sunday. Everyone visiting raves about our Sunday morning waffles. But DS5 really wants Mickey waffles! So I've been on the hunt for a Mickey waffle iron for 2 years now! This is the closest thing I can find:

I'm a little concerned with the warning that people in CA can get cancer from using it. That's why I haven't bought it.

You don't have to worry, you do not live in California. People in California must get sick a lot. They sure get a lot of warnings. Never see any other state listed.
