Hi, I made a GF website for kicks. And here is the link but please do not post this anywhere else on the DIS or on the GF FAQ.

It just went up last night.

Tell me about it!! But do I want to spend the money to upgrade... I know NOTHING about this resort and I did not like POR very much... I am sour on the mods...

BTW- the website is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...my friend likes POR...but last summer she stayed at CBR and didn't like that resort...it's huge..and she had housekeeping issues.....so she has stuck with POR for her past couple trips and had luck with it.

I think with CBR it seems people have strong feelings -either they love it or hate it. The new rooms look pretty neato though. I heard the pool was recently redone and it's cool, too......might be kinda nice in June....

Those rooms look so cool . I say go for it . We stayed at CBR in 2002 (our first time on property) and we thought it was a very nice resort . It's pretty big but from what I remember the transportation was great as it didn't take more than 5-10 minutes to get to any of the parks/DTD/waterparks . CBR seemed so much more centrally located to everything compared to the other resorts we've stayed at . Plus they just redid the pool which I've read is supposed to be pretty cool as well . I can't compare it to POR though as once we tried the BC the year after we stayed at CBR, we've never done another mod .

Kristin Those rooms look pretty neat...I bet your DS would love them...but if you really enjoyed POP you might want to stick with that... I know I'm no help...sorry...I tend to stick with what I know I like...

This day seemed to fly by(must be my sudden trip excitement)....AI is on again tonight...looks like its gonna be a good season...

Christine Just wanted to let you know that I read a post on the CR Faq thread today that said they have removed the in room computers!!!

One poster said when they asked about this the response was that it was only a trial!! Too bad because it was really so nice....

Who knows maybe they'll put them back again...

Thanks for all the well wishes. He still doesn't have any vision in that eye, I think it was BlueSkies that asked, but they said it would take time. He is starting to see some light so I guess that is a good sign.

My order came from Basin White. It came from the GF. Now I just have to decide which one to use first.

It took me MONTHS ....and it's still a work in progress....I have so much to add and so much more info to gather. I will get more next week when I am there. And as with anything that requires any creativity it is a matter of me being IN THE MOOD!!! When I would be on a roll I'd stay up til the weeeee hours of the night cranking away...other times I went for days without touching it.

And THANKS to my awesome friends that took some pics I needed and let me have them! AND gave me ideas for what to include!!!!! THank you thank you!!!

Maxie ooooh...what did you order?!!??! When Jo was sick she soaked in my big bathtub with a pink sugar bathbomb....I couldn't believe how heavenly sweet she smelled the rest of the day.....I have a stash of Pink Sugar stuff....LOVE THAT!!!

HOpe the husbands are doing better today.....and the wives suffering is less.

Evening...... well it has been a bad night

DD had a reaction to the antibiotic she is on and i had to rush her to the doctors. The nice office staff did not charge me but it is a haul and my car is not doing right all the sudden. So half way there I called my sister and she met me and we went the rest of the way to the doctors in her car. Of course it has been pouring all night and despite all my efforts i got drenched.

Her face got a little swollen and puffy but after checking her throat and tongue they think she is ok. I am still to nervous to sleep but DH said he would sleep in her room and listen to her fro a while.

Of course on top of all this i am chaperoning DD field trip in the AM and have to be at her school 30 min early. I was planning on taking my van and staying in teh city so i could go shop for a new pair of jeans but i can't drive my car that far teh way it is acting

And to top things off i have had fast food two nights in a row so I am feeling gross and defeated diet wise. The stress got to me and i had big and nasty at mcD's AND a milkshake in place of a coke
