Blue...that is CRAZY EXCITING NEWS!!! I always used to book last min trips to WDW & I LOVED THOSE!! I haven't been able to done that in a long time due to my kids' crazy schedules......HAVE FUN!! You'll know us if you see us!!! Too bad we can't meet up. I have to find my itinerary plans ...and then I can tell you where we will be on Fri and Sat...so you will keep your eyes peeled. Or maybe stay out of that park that day.

Morning Gals


I've had an interesting morning so far and it's not even 8:00 yet . Got DS13 on the bus no problem and I was waiting for DS15 to finish getting ready when the phone rings.......the caller id shows a wireless call and a number I didn't recognize . So I picked it up thinking it was middle school DS using a buddy's cell phone for some reason . Turns out it was the neighbor boy calling to ask if I could take him to school because he missed the bus . But the kicker is.........HE HAS A SISTER RIGHT THERE AT HOME THAT'S IN HIGH SCHOOL THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN LEAVING FOR SCHOOL HERSELF . (I should say that he is in middle school and the ms is twice the distance past the high school ). So my question was "Isn't your sister home???" To which he replied "Yeah.....but she wouldn't take me if her life depended on it!!!" WHAT???? So I went on to say that I wouldn't be leaving to take DS for about another 10 minutes so if she won't take him or he couldn't find someone else (I really didn't want to go all the way to the ms as it's out in the boonies ) to call me back. Well....as soon as I hung up DS came down and said he was ready to go . Just as I was getting ready to call the boy back, my cell phone goes off and it's DH . The boy's dad just started working with DH.......so DH was calling to ask if I had left yet and if I could take the kid to school. I said ok and I heard the dad in the background telling his son to head over to our house since we would be leaving soon . I'm not trying to sound like I won't help out a neighbor..........but he had a perfectly good ride from his sister . This boy missed the bus about a month ago and I think he called here but I didn't get the phone........found out later that his sister refused to take him so the mom had to leave work to come home, get him, and take him to school . But everybody calls me first because they know I'm home . Now on to other things.......thanks for letting me vent..........


BlueDeb.......WTG on the last minute Disney trip . Two nights isn't alot but hey.....it was a great unexpected surprise and it's Disney . Have a great time .


Feb Gals.......I want to see all the cute Hoodies . Just think, this time next week you'll be waking up at Disney .

Glad that your DD is feeling better....isnt it amazing that they can go from being sooo sick to bouncing off the walls.... kids....

Glad DD is feeling better . That's one thing about kids.....you always know when they're feeling better by the way they act .

My DD loves the pink sugar too....hope I can get over to Basin or Basin White because I need some more soap...oh I wonder if they have valentine soap...ok where is the smilie with the hearts....

BlueDeb.......I know can you believe it???? I told DH that would NOT go over well in this house . DS might not like taking his brother places when he gets his license this summer, but if I'm giving him a car and paying all expenses then he WILL do things he's asked to do.....especially for something like that . I won't take advantage of DS driving.....but he will be carting his brother around sometimes.....especially to school....but that will be easy since they're both in high school next year . But I told DH that it's the parents fault she's like that because they let her get away with it . And they bought her the car and pay the insurance and everything so it's not like she's working and paying for everything herself . I have seen too many kids today that are just spoiled rotten BRATS and have absolutely no respect for anyone......including their parents.....it's sad .

Deb....that is disturbing. That girl needs a kick in the butt. And then you psted that they bought her a car/pay her insurance/etc.....omg...NO WAY! What a BRAT!!! Yeah...there are a lot of kids like that these days though...sad but true.

I hope Maxie & Dawn's DHs are doing better??

Morning Gals!

Whoooo Hooooo now that we have our hoodies it seems REAL! I can't wait!

Thanks fro all the well wishes for DD2.

She has never had a ear infection (DD3 has had enough for all my kids) so after 2 hours of crying and me asking what was wrong she grabbed her ear. By that time it was about 30 min before I had to pick up DS from school and I got ready and got every one dressed for church and made arrangement for my kids to go to my sisters and off we went. Poor thing slept in the car, and by the time we got the older ones dropped off and daddy picked up at work and to Target (the Night Owl does not open till 5:30) she was awake but had peed while she slept. So I ran in and got her some new under where and a little dress. When I got back to the car she was as happy as a clam. We went in Target and had fun looking around!

She has been fine since but dos have a terrible ear infection. She LOVED being alone with just mommy and daddy and we loved the time with her too! I was shocked at how incredible she communicated! I think she just does not feel like competing with the older ones at home so she just stays quiet. DH and I think we are going to start doing special stuff with just one kid at a time because we both agreed it was good for us all! I have one cool 2 year old!

Um No! I have a TINY house and it is to the MAX! I have one bathroom and it is almost unbearable NO more room in the inn!

If i had a mega house i would have lots of people stay with me all the time!

I can tell ya prices are great around here! I have been searching MLS listings and you can get a NICE BIG house in the LOW 200's! I found one that was 6 B/4ba for 239K The problem is selling a house

OK I gotta run!

I am cooking meals today to freeze while i am on the bus. DH can take care of it with no problem but i figured i would surprise him for being so great about me going!

BuleSkies an unexpected Disney trip. That is so nice of your aunt. I am sure that you will have no trouble recognizing the Feb Gals. They will be the ones being escorted out of the park for disorderly conduct.

We just got back from the Dr. The pressure is down a lot, but not to normal range. He has to go back tomorrow. He has to continue to take the pills and drops to bring down the pressure.

I hear ya....we have the normal "I know everything and I can do what I want" teen stuff...and I know I'm not the only one that goes through that.....but the disrespect is where I draw the line . DH said those car keys would be gone so fast and she'd be riding the bus the rest of the year if that was his daughter .

Those meetings are the best kind......the ones you know are going to go well because they all love your child . Although I remember a few in elementary school for oldest DS where I was afraid of what they'd tell me about his behavior . The kid just couldn't stop talking in class .

Oh that girl just burns me......what a little BRAT is right .

My thoughts exactly . I'm not a scrooge and I'll help anyone out....especially a close neighbor....but it just makes my blood boil that he had to call me while his sister sits there all smug knowing she can do whatever she wants . Just wait until she gets out into the REAL world!!!!

Hey Gals....

Its been a LONG 24 hrs......DH had surgery yesterday and it ended up being worse than expected. Replaced the ACL, 2 torn meniscus, lots of floating cartilage...Mega Pain Pills today! Thanks for all of the well wishes!

I cannot believe that story about AMEX....thats disgusting...

You NE gals...hope you are not to buried in snow and ice.

Hope he is one the mend sooner rather than later!!
