spacec47 Another Red Sox fan. I can't wait for the season to start. Since the Pats weren't in the playoffs it has been a long time from the end of football and the start of baseball.

Lisa: Nice snow pic's. That looks like a lot of snow for you.

It is snowing here again. We got over an inch before I left work and it is still snowing. We had a little last night, less than half an inch. I am so tired of this. I want warm and sunny.

ChrisHart: Thanks. I'll have to remember to take my sweater to the Poly.

Hey Chan......I'm just kidding about the Poly......you know that . As much as we enjoyed our stay there, I'm SUPER EXCITED to try the GF in June . I have been running all afternoon . My mom called this morning to see if DH would be around anytime today to plow her driveway since they had about 5-6 inches piled up . Since the boys got out early today, I went with DS to clear it for them...after stopping at my sister's on the way. Since I don't know how to work the snowplow on DH's truck (and have NO interest in learning ).......I drive while DS works the plow controls . Then we visited with my mom and dad for while.....and then had to stop at the store on the way home . But I guess that was a good thing as I just picked up some chicken and a few sides and that was dinner . But I swear sometimes the clean up from ordering out is worse than if I had cooked myself . Now I'm beat and ready for bed .

AW...Deb..what a day! Get a good night's rest...I know what you mean about the take out! When we were kids we had a really REALLY long driveway and my dad used to have to stay up all night and plow at hourly intervals....or...sometimes he had to hire huge equipment crews to come plow us out. This winter is reminding me of those winters years ago with all that snow we could jump off our roof into snowdrifts!! And we DID!!!

Mare Thanks for the idea about using the fat free ingredients...it will be worth trying out as I havent made the zucchini pie in a while thinking it was too fattening!

Baseball season is very interesting around here with a Mets fan and a Red Sox fan all under one roof!!!

A Red Sox fan and a Yankee fan in the same house. Red sox -Yankee games must really be interesting at your house. I was a Mets fan at one time, long long ago, but then I saw the light and am now a big Red Sox fan.

Maxie I goofed on that DH reminded me one DS is now a Mets fan...I cant keep up...basketball season theyre all rooting for different teams too...Its crazy

We always have at least one family member rooting for a different team...baseball season can get very noisy around here!!!

hey ladies, you have been chatty! This phone loads too slow to read everything so I'll have a lot to catch up on when we get back.
we had a nice flight, cowds are low, weather is chilly, hoping for a warm-up tomorrow!
we got a great upgrade to one of the garden suites at BWI! I love this room! I almost cried when they told us, as I wanted to book this but couldn't justify the cost and had promised myself "someday" as a conselation! I will take lots of pics; the carpets are nice, lol
doing the kttk tour this morning, then ak. wedding is tomorrow! I can't believe it's almost here!

Morning Ladies


Chan......I did sleep rather well last night.....thanks . DS and I went over to my mom and dad's last Thursday also to plow them out since the kids were off school.....and I told them THAT was the very reason they need to move and be closer to us kids . Doing things like that aren't as easy as if they lived 5-10 minutes away . Out of all 4 kids none of us are just a few minutes away.....my one sister is the closest at maybe a 1/2 hour ......the rest of us are out in the boonies . But of course they just laugh like we're the crazy ones .

How funny about jumping off the roof into snow drifts......sounds fun though . I remember back in our days when we would get snow but it was never like this.......it would snow, the plows would come and clear the streets, and we'd be good to go . Now it seems like you don't see a clean street until everything starts to melt and then another snow storm comes and it's back to where we started . And I don't ever really remember not being able to go anywhere due to the horrible roads . I know sometimes we'd get dumped on and it would kind of slow things down a bit......but we never had all this ice and nasty weather that made driving as treacherous as it gets today . I am soooo nervous about DS starting to drive with being on all these country roads .


Amy.......So glad you made it and the flight and everything went well . Tomorrow is the big day......how excited you must be ......soon you will be a married woman . Congrats on the upgrade . Have fun on the KTTK tour and at AK . Can't wait to hear all about your wedding and see pics . I hope the weather warms up a little for you .

First thing...Michelle Obama's outfit yesterday was STUNNING! Classy is all I have to say...the dress last night was okay nothing that WOWED me....I love the way they really seem to love each other very evident throughout the campaign and last night.

Crock Pot Gals...I have some killer recipes...Beef Stroganoff easy peasy!

Lisa, they showed Raleigh on the GMA news this morning - and all the snow! Wow!! I bet the place will be closed today.

Deb....yeah this has been a terrible winter. I grew up a bit north of here so pretty much the same place....and this is how I remember winter as a kid. The past few years have been lame winters...but I'd take them over this garbage. YES! We have pics of us on the roof and jumping off. The drifts were like 10 feet high. We had fun with it when we were kids. Now I understand why my parents hated it. Oh...I know about kids driving....it is scary.

I threw out my crock pot. I never used it....I guess if I had some killer recipes I might have. PLUS...my mom...ugh...the way I came about getting that stupid crock pot made me soo happy to finally pitch it. IT was WONDERFUL! Long weird story....but it was cathartic.
