OK i still didn't catch up...but here's what I remember.....

ChrisHart - Welcome to the chat thread!!! I am glad you made that resolution...that's a fun one!! Have a great trip!!:goodvibes Safe travels.

omg...and i forgot what else I was gonna reply to......OH!

Wendy,
Lucy started reading them when she was 11. I said NO at first because the cover looks .....ew. But then my good friend's husband read it before he let their 11 dd (lucy's BF) read it....and the lady that writes them is Mormon. They are very tame. The girls made tees, and special jewelry for the movie....they were almost like a bunch of goofy old ladies going to WDW by themselves for the first time.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

BRB! off to see more of what i missed today!

And the even lamer Poly just had a bunch of small houses by their chef's. DS was like "That's it?!" So I have NO pictures to share :snooty:

I maybe really late in seeing this, but Southwest's site says they are opening flights to 8-14 on 1/29.

Hope this helps the summer travelers!

THANKS Kristin!!:goodvibes Oooh I love your Xmas pics!! ANd I LOVE YOUR MILEY PICS!!!! hmm...some of those gingerbread displays are just kinda bleh. Poly = lame

Mandy.....Thanks for your input on HDDR.....DH has been saying we need to try it so maybe we'll give it a try in December :goodvibes. I have read reports where people say the food is awesome :thumbsup2. We are also thinking of doing the DxDDP in December so we can do alot of signature restaurants along with that show ;). If we didn't do the 2TS places the deluxe plan would be way too much food for us :scared:.

Kristin....Chan will be happy to see SWA extending their flight schedule since her return date in June (if she keeps that ressie :rolleyes1) is 6/27 and the cut off right now is 6/26 :headache:. Thanks for the info :thumbsup2.

Deb :)

Thanks for thinking of me, Deb!

Afternoon everyone, I hope all of you have had a good day so far. I got my hair cut this morning and have been messing around the house this afternoon.

What do you think of Victoria and Albert's or Citricos? DH and I have been looking at the menus and we are split. He wants one, I want another. I think I may have to book both or just give in to his wishes and let him pick this one, I get everything else I want at WDW so maybe I'll let him choose this one restaurant. Thanks - Lisa.

Lisa....do V & A so you can take pics and tell me how it is! I have been to Citricos. It was AWESOME one time...and eh the next. But the AWESOME was for my 40th bday and it was very quiet and slow in there and they treated us so nicely.....the eh was Xmas EVE...it was CRAZY LOUD and rushed and the food even tasted bleah. I only hear RAVES about V&A.

You guys slowed down and I got to catch up.

Maxie.
...HOpe you feel batter fast!:flower3:

Our snow was nothing like predicted, but now I heard that tonight into tomorrow is going to be ugly.....did you hear that too Kristin?

Anyway...OK...let me see what else i missed until Miss Jojo gets home from school!! I have a little time left.:goodvibes

Mandy, I know, it is an INSANE amount of food, but I am mostly doing all the lunches to get out of the midday heat. Even if we just eat an appy and a dessert at least we are away from the sun, KWIM?

Oh, I totally agree with you!!!:thumbsup2

We're spreading our meals out, 8:30 bkfst, noon lunch, 7:30 dinner. Also, the boys and DH never fill up at breakfast. The boys are too excited about the characters and DH just isn't into breakfast foods (Italian thing, give him a biscotti and espresso and he's happy!) I'm the only one who LOVES breakfast! So they're always hungry by noon! :headache: DH and DS4 always find turkey legs midday, so later dinners are the way to go.

The character breakfasts are more of a dining experience for us than a meal if you KWIM? I'm not waiting in line to meet Mickey in the June heat! I'd rather dine with him and relax in a/c :rotfl:

Also the Tusker House bkfst is awesome! Mandy, you were so right!!:thumbsup2 I'm making a late ADR around 10am for this one. The variety is just amazing craved ham, blintzes (sp), quiche, etc... DH was even surprised. We didn't get to really enjoy everything because we went for the usual bkfst food first until we discovered the other stuff! :rotfl2: So now we have to go back.

Chan: Jojo's cake is GORGEOUS!!! :goodvibes

And just a couple fun ones of the family

ITA!!! I am the breakfast food freak too! And by trying to hit as many character meals as possible means almost no autograph lines in the park :woohoo:

Ditto on Tusker House! We "brunch it" here with a 10:30 ADR and an earlier dinner (no lunch) This way we can get a few things done when the park first opens and grab an EE FP before we eat :thumbsup2 We really liked this place TEN TIMES BETTER than Restaurantosaurus too.

Kristin your pics are adorable! LOL I love that one with DS and the sword. Boys and their weapons......:rotfl: OK...I CANNOT believe you guys won't do ToT but you and DS love EE!! But I am a wussy and don't do either....ToT seems a bit tamer though.

Your family pics are terrific! Looks like you guys had a super fun time.:goodvibes

Mandy.....Thanks for your input :goodvibes. We have never done any signature restaurants so doing the DxDDP will be a great way to try alot of them :thumbsup2. It sounds like HDDR is a go for us.........now it's just a matter of remembering to book it when it comes time to make ADRs for December :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Kristin......LOVE the pics :goodvibes :goodvibes. I can't wait to see the castle in person all lit up in December.....those pics are gorgeous :). And the Osborne Lights were down for some reason when we were there in December '03 so that will be another treat for me :thumbsup2. June will be fun but I REALLY can't wait to get back to Disney with all the holidays decorations up ;).

Chan......That cake is awesome........I LOVE it :thumbsup2. And Jojo is so cute :cutie:.....I hope she has a great party and a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her :bday:.

Maxie......I hope you feel better soon . I have read where some peeps have gotten not two 40% offers.....but THREE :scared1:....when some like us haven't received anything :headache:. I hope one comes yours and my way soon :wizard:.

Deb :rolleyes1

EE is AWESOME!!! It is very smooth (not like BTMRR) and the big hill is not as steep as Splash anyway. And the backwards part ROCKS!!!

What I hate about ToT is the not knowing how many times you are going to bounce, KWIM? We went on it in May for Daddy, but in December we gave DS the choice or ToT or Dinosaur. He chose Dinosaur (much to my lament- I hate that ride!!)

YOU turkeys! I cant believe you are coming in sooner! It is gonna kill me know you are here for two days and havign to wait to join the party!

I love the cake!

Tell Jo the "S" girls send birthday wishes :goodvibes
party: :bday: party:

Me too Mandy!!

Kristin - Great pics! And you all are a cute family!

Chan- - The cake is gorgeous! I wouldnt want to cut it!
Hope JoJo and friends have a great time!
Are you and Kel coming in Wednesday now? You all are cracking me up! I wish I was coming at least on Thursday now!
I'll have to get the Twilight book from DD's neighbor friend and hide it in my nightstand so I can read it first.:rolleyes1

Kristin: Great photos! I have to take the tea cup spin too! DH won't go on that or Pooh! :rotfl2: He hates the Tigger bouncing part :rotfl:

My boys loved getting the swords at CRT too! Had to take them away immediately! You do not hand an 18 month old a sword during a meal! The breakfast pastries nearly went flying!

When you have time, you must give us your mini review of CRT for dinner. I've never heard anything good about dinner.

Mandy: you got me thinking if we should add more 2TS meals  I asked DH and he thought I had Cali Grill on the list and I didn't. So I ditched Ohanas (was iffy about that one) and our second 1900 Park Fare bkfst to make room for Cali Grill. We can grab pastries for bkfst on our last morning at the MK Bakery. The boys love the French Toast Loaf and I love the frozen latte!! :lovestruc No one eats a lot at each meal. A day or two, here and there we can do two meals, but not every day. Plus many times we've taken dessert to go. I always have food in the stroller basket! :rotfl2:

I would love to try the steak and mac and cheese at Jiko, but it just won't fit in. Another time....

WE ARE!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Siobhan and SHeli and Kelly are all flying together out from Boston!! I am flying BY MYSELF!! But hopefully (YES I am still hoping) with Dawn from Chicago. :wizard: We arrive late at MCO and are using my SPG pts for a free night at Swan. So we can be there...spend some MK time and check in at the GF....did you get your return flight switched, WEndy?!?! We still have the same returns....all about 445 ish.

DAwn!! Hope things went well for you today!! WE have been thinking about you & crossing fingers...saying prayers...sending good positive thoughts. FYI....we switched our flight to Wed night.....SWA has a 630 departure that arrives at MCO at 10 pm. You could do that!!! I KNOW YOU COULD!!!!:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Mare,
so.....did you see OPrah today? LOL...it even made KRISTIN blush!!!!! OMG.....

Here's ONE last pic....I gave Jo these matching pjs and Kelly sent her the divalicious AG chair....she and Ivy are ready to slumber PARTY!!

DSCF3746.jpg

I am getting READY!! I am sorta dreading it......LOL.:rotfl:

Chan

Chan: Jojo looks adorable! :cutie:

I taped Oprah, too busy doing laundry. I had to throw one more load in. I'm now done. 4 loads in one day is my limit.

No go on the country this weekend. They're predicting too much snow.

It was one of our best meals of the trip (no joke!!) Even DH, who didn't want to go, adored it!!! We had wonderful service and the food was SO much better than breakfast. And since the characters don't do a meet and greet, per se, it doesn't feel rushed. They do a little song and a dance and run from table to table for a quick pic, but no autgraphs etc. And the tip is already incuded in the price so it is almost worth it to pay OOP and not waste 2 credits on it. I had prime rib, which was great and DH had the lamb which was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

The only other 2 dinners we liked better were Cali Grille and Narcoosees. Even Yachtsman couldn't compare :rotfl: Don't get me wrong, Yachtsman food is GREAT, but it is VERY SLOW (and our server did his best to rush since we were trying to make it back to EPCOT before it closed to catch the monorail back to the GF) and it still took 2 hours. I just didn't think Yachtsman was "2 credits great" the way Narcoosees and Cali Grille were, KWIM?

Oh Chan I got those pjs for Jillian, too! :goodvibes

Wow you were busy this afternoon! I was gone for a few hours and look what happened!

We have eaten at the Chefs Table at V & A's! We loved it! And I have been to Citricos, too...I have to eat some dinner then I will be back with my reviews....They are always interesting! :rotfl:

You guys are sweet...her real bday is Jan 15. But we have her good friends that couldn't make it next weekend so we pushed it up to tonight. SHE is EXCITED.....but

my dread is setting in. :rotfl: I hope it is good and FAST....no drama...no screaming.....no crying......no fussing.....no running...no getting the dog all wound up....NOBODY getting stuck in our driveway! DS had to work right away after school.......It's a mess out there.:headache:

Hopefully they will be perfect little angels:angel: and i will be here chatting or online shopping.:rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Chan
