Hey Gals


DS is STILL sleeping .....so I managed to get all my bathrooms cleaned .....now on to dusting and doing my floors ....AFTER my Dis break, of course .


Chan......OMG......I agree with Mare....who tells others how much debt they have.......how crazy . I may be in the minority but I don't like Oprah . DH jokes around all the time and asks me what I did all day besides watch Oprah and eat bon bons . I tell him the bon bons might be accurate but I can't stand Oprah so watching her doesn't happen . I hope you keep your June dates but Christmas is nice too . Do what I'm doing and go BOTH times . Ya....I can't get over the holiday price for RPC .


Mare......I hope your little guy is feeling better . I hope mine is getting the rest he needs since he's still sleeping .


DS came home with his Homecoming pics yesterday and they are SOOO GOOD . I have to brag a little......he is SO HANDSOME all dressed up in a suit!!!!! I can't believe he is going to be 16 this June . They grow up way too fast .


I better get back to cleaning.......I'm sure DS will be up soon wanting to eat . TTYL Gals .

Cabana Info

Here is the cabana rental and reservation that I just got:

Rates: $60 for 1/2 day and $110 for a full day (same as before they were refurbished! )

Reservations: They can be booked 90 day + 10 just like dining.... this being 90 days from the day of your arrival and for any days that you'd like to book them for during your stay....

So happy about this... makes booking so much easier...I remember reading about Annettes difficulty last summer trying to arrange hers...

Now just have to wait for that 90 day mark...

Here is the cabana rental and reservation that I just got:

Chan: Why do they ALWAYS interupt the View???? That is so annoying!! I was just reading that Tom Cruise is there (and not at John Travolta's son's memorial like everyone expected him to be) He's at the View which will now air tomorrow - Tom Cruise cannot be shut-out by the president So tomorrow's View will be today's tapped.

I'm taking a break, I cleaned my kitchen today. A real deep clean. Stove, oven, microwave, fridge, cabinets etc... I'm pooped! But my kitchen smells so nice! I picked up this new Fantastik w/oxyclean and it smells so nice!

I listened to the Podcast while cleaning, they gave the GF Kid's club a good review. I'm not so sure this kid (Stella) would give any of the Kid's Clubs a bad review - she seems so happy just to go . Next up is the Neverland Club at the Poly, now that one looks like fun! I'm interested to hear about that one. I think DS4 would love it there. Might sign him up there while we have a nice dinner at Kona.

Gotta go wash the kitchen floor. I hate doing floors! (cinderella, cinderella)

Although, sometimes the DINE line will book everything for you like tours and cabanas rather than you call each one individually - depends on the CM you get.

Glad that your DS is feeling better.... Its something isnt it when you start to see your children as adults(of course we know they only look that way!!!)...seeing your DS dressed nicely in a suit would definitely do it...the time flies..

Mare My kids loved the Neverland Club...we sent them just a few times(like when we had dinner reservations for Cali Grill...) but that was long ago they are all teens now...

When we picked them up they had pictures (with some characters that stopped by )and some autographs... They went into the play area through a doorway that looked like a window...got sprinkled by pixie dust....very cute...

They wanted to go back the next day we said sorry but you'll have to hang around with us today...oh well...

That will help Annette big time...she had to call each morning last summer to get her a cabana for her daughter each day.

Thanks . I'll try reserving mine when I call for my ADRs in March and see where I get . Now that you mention it, I do recall being asked in the past if there was anything else they could book for me when my ADRs were completed.......so maybe I'll get a great CM to do it all . I just realized that I will have to get TWO cabanas on any and all days I reserve because don't they only accomodate up to 6 people....or is it just 4 ? We have 8 altogether going .

Good luck tomorrow Chan . I didn't know THAT much snow was coming tomorrow . I wonder if it's gonna stay up north by you or make it's way down by us . If I were you I'd maybe rethink the party food venture and go tonight . Good luck and I hope Jojo has a great party .

Do you all plan on being in the cabana at the same time?? If not, then I'd get one. If you think the kids will spend most of the time IN the pool, no sense paying for two cabanas. If you're planning all day at the pool then I'd get two and open the side curtains - it will feel like one big cabana I believe they accommodate 6.

Remember there were rumors of them installing Wiis in each cabana?? Wonder if that will happen by June?

I love looking at DS's Homecoming picture but it also makes me want to cry because I know I can't stop him from growing up ......but it's happening too fast for me . Deb

That's so sweet! I can't believe my son's going to be FIVE!! I feel like he was just a baby yesterday! Can't even THINK about 16!

So now I'm planning on dropping DS4 at the Neverland Club. It sounds adorable that they climb thru Wendy's window and get sprinkled with pixie dust! He will LOVE that! So with him there, where should we eat?? I'll still have DS1 with us and he'll be a terrible two by June (he is already!)

Should we go to Cali Grill or Citricos? We're going to get room service from Narcoossee's (you know DH's dying for surf and turf on the balcony) Or is Kona and the Wave just as good? I don't have to dine at a 2ts. Where should we go? Any ideas?? We haven't been to Cali Grill in 9 years, so I was thinking about that one.... We celebrated our 1st anniversary there so maybe we should go and celebrate our 10th (okay, it will be 2 weeks after our official anniversary but it's the same year)

Gotta get DS1 down for a nap. He's cranky

OMG Kristin......THAT IS AWESOME !!!! I WANT A CODE TOO . Someone posted on another thread and said they were online pricing and didn't book......then they were asked why they didn't book (not sure how this happened ).....and they said everyone was getting these 40% off codes and they didn't. Low and behold shortly after that they got a 40% off code through their email . I would LOVE to get that code for our December trip .


Mare.......You raise some interesting points with the cabanas ....I will definitely have to think about that.....thanks . Oh how I remember when my two were 5 years old . We were just talking about this yesterday....I was saying how much fun we had going shopping (mine were great shopping and in the stroller )....and how we would play at home and go outside......what great memories . Savor these times now while you can because they will be gone in the blink of an eye .

Deb: I know, time flies when they're little! DS4 is my little buddy. He's such a good kid. We have so much fun together. DS1 is a little rambunctious Not as calm as DS4

I don't know how technical they are with the cabanas (only rented one last June, so I'm a newbie). I don't know if they'll count the people and make an issue about having two people over the limit. Annette mentioned once about inviting relatives who live in the area over to the cabana and had no problems. Maybe others can chime in....

Amanda our cabana attendent was fantastic! I was really impressed. I spent the day in the cabana with the two kids while DH did his Richard Petty driving thingy. She came over to play with the boys often, always asking if I needed something. Just very attentive. I hope she's still there! Although a Pirate at the pool would be nice Anyone listen to the podcast? Carribean Beach Pool has a Magical Opening in the mornings - the kids get to have a sword fight with a Pirate (not Captain Jack )

OK, so tell me about the DDE card now. We took the room only since we don't need tickets so no DxDDP this time. Guess I will drop it on the June trip and use the DDE instead. How much does it save me? And it is at most TS places, right??????? Including CRT??
