Hi all

Well I was happy as a clam walking through target when my DS told me he didnt feel good and he had to go to the bathroom....We just made it! He threw up and threw up! Not good! Thank God he didnt make a mess though...On the way home we just ran into the Mom and Pop market to get 2 things that I was in need of and he lost it all there, too! We came right home and he is not doing good....Ugghhh! I am telling ya, it is always something!

Well I hope you all have a better day than me!

Bummer...poor little guy. I hope he feels better FAST!!

Sorry to hear that:sad2: Barfing is the worst IMO!!! Hope he is feeling better quick..had this happen with one of the kids on a flight once...right in his seat...:scared1: we were not very popular on that flight for sure...good thing Channing wasnt sitting near us...:rotfl:

:rotfl: Oh ya!! I don't do well with protein spills......but after three kids I have KINDA become used to it....but not OPKs...(other people's kids):rotfl2: BUT...I am blessed....my kids ALMOST ALWAYS..like 95% of the time make it to the toilet. I have been soooo fortunate that way.:rotfl:

I am here

Hey everyone I know someone who is SFG, I bet you do to.

I KNOW I do!

I am now on SCW
you better be to Chan...
its a coming for you

I am still on the lam. Do ya think laughing burns a lot of calories? Can you have a seizure from laughing? How about a heart attack because my chest hurts. Kelly got me going today......:rotfl: :rotfl:

So I go get myself ready to pick up ballerina Jojo..and I was mixing up a little cherry pomogranate crystal light into my water bottle.....well I was 1/2 not paying attention and the red powder went EVERYWHERE....but the worst is...just a bit before I had this huge carving knife and cutting board out for pineapple....so the more I washed it and my hands I looked like I had some horrid bloody accident. :rotfl2: ew. Mega mess.

Chan chan on the lam:cool2:

We are in the same boat Siobhan

DD has been puny all day and she sat up 30 min ago and puked..... she says and is acting like she feels better. :confused3

Amy & Deb: Thanks! :flower3: Lancaster, PA (Amish Country) has either chain motels or bed & breakfasts in Amish Farmhouses and DH is NOT staying with the Amish! :rotfl2:

Last time we went, I found this gorgeous Best Western totally modernized. I got a great deal on a two room suite. It had a marble bathroom, 2 plasma tvs, nintendo, etc... It was really really nice for a Best Western, even DH was impressed. But it's in the middle of farmland - no where near anything.

http://www.edenresort.com/

I'd like to stay this time on the main strip, which only has chain motels (Red Roof, HoJo, Country Inn, etc...) I just discovered that a new Wingate by Wyndham is opening this Spring - how's that? Anyone ever stay at one of those???

I'm just looking for a nice, clean place for two nights. It's not like it's a major vacation. It's just a place to sleep.

For some reason, every review I read about motels on this strip (Lincoln Highway) everyone mentions the free breakfast and the make your own waffles stations :rotfl2: I think each motel is trying to win you over with more breakfast items! Who has hard boiled eggs, this one has sausage patties, it's just so darn funny! Oh yes, let's stay at this place they give you free eggs! :rotfl:

For this "Thomas train event" the motels sell out fast and the Thomas tickets aren't even on sale until March. It's a huge event for the area. So I need to make a decision quick.

Thanks for your comments!

Mare...here's my comment....What is wrong with the Amish?!!??:rotfl: They make nice furniture.:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: I can't imagine staying with them though.....that would be weird. Even if they have nice furniture....and I am no techie, but still......:rolleyes1

It's snowing here!!! I just got home from my afternoon adventures. We ordered Jojo's bday cake on the way home. She got a big mega layered round one that will look like a birthday present with a huge fondant bow on top. It's GOOD YUMMOLA fondant...not the icky kind. She chose a hot pink cake with purple polka dots and a yellow "ribbon". They always do killer cakes so this one will be interesting.:rotfl:

I am freezing...and I am sick of being cold.

TTYL Gals! :goodvibes How's the pony, kel? OH! how's your donKAY? Is it safe to come out of hiding? How's that SCW?

BlueSkies: Hope your headache is gone. I do like the bike much better. I use it 3 or 4 times a week, except in the summer when it is hot. The guest room isn't air conditioned. I usually go 3-5 miles and 20-45 minutes. I play tetris on an old gameboy while I ride it or sometimes read a book. I can't do that on the treadmill. It makes me dizzy. I can only stay on it for 10-15 min.

Amy: Sorry you had some drama, but if you want to dump her, I'll volunteer to take her place.:rotfl2: I'm a little old, but maybe nobody will notice.:rotfl2:

Siobhan: Sorry your DS is sick, hope he feels better soon. I do not do protien spills either. Whenever DS got sick I would say, go see your father.:lmao: I took care of everything but that.

Mare: 1 serving of cream is only 1 WW point. I just don't think we have the same idea of a serving size.:rotfl2: :rolleyes1 I don't think there are any points in 1 serving of sugar, so have your sugar guilt free.:lmao:
I love the Strasburg RR. Haven't been there in years. I wish they had Thomas when DS was little. He loved trains. The last time we were in Lancaster we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was a little out of the way, but was probably a little better than most of the other chains. Is the Strasburg Inn still there? We had dinner in there once and it looked very very nice.

Hi everybody else. 73 days until spring.

Oh, I know what you mean! I have a very heavy hand when it comes to cream! :rotfl:

I'll check on the Strasburg Inn. The Best Western Eden Resort was surprisingly very upscale for a Best Western, we loved the accommodations it was just out of the way. Not far, but a good 20 min drive from the "action".

I should ask DH before I do anything, he's the hotel snob  I'm all for convenience, but he likes his fancy TV set :rotfl2:

I just thought being in the heart of everything would be more fun. I like the idea of walking to Dutch Wonderland and taking a mid day break. We'll see. I'm not stressing over this little weekend trip that's not happening until SEPT!!

Chan: Jojo's cake sounds beautiful!! Can't wait to see pictures!

Siobhan & Mandy: Sorry you've got sick little ones  Puke is the worst. My DS4 has no concept of "in the bucket" !!!:rotfl2:

We stayed at the Best Western Eden when it was new.:thumbsup2 I remember that it was pretty far out. I think the Hilton would be just as far, if not farther from Strasburg. I am a hotel snob too and I like convience, I want it all.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Good Morning

I had already been outside today. It is snowing here and we have a couple inches of thick snow. I went out and shoveled my porches and driveway. Then salted everything as its being to sleet and its all gonna freeze over.

Shawn had school and wasnt happy and my house is nice and quiet as the other one is still sleeping. I expect him up soon though.

Hello

I cant believe it but I just got up!!! My DH told me around 6 that both had no school and I knew I could just sleep! DS just came to me now and so I am up! Wow...That is crazy! I cant remember the last time I slept like this! I just looked outside and it seems they could of had just a delay but no....So that means I will be going later in June....

Marvel...Would Universal have been doable without the Express Pass?? I know someone debating buying it!

What does everyone else have going on?

Good Morning Gals :coffee:.

We got a few inches of snow last night but nothing major......just enough to make it nasty for driving....and I have to run out today :headache:.

Kelly......I saw the news this morning that showed alot of bad weather heading you east coast gals way :sad2:. I hope it's not as bad as they're saying and that it passes through quickly without any major damages .

Mare.....I hear ya on the coffee creamer :rolleyes1......no measuring for me as it just gets poured right in until I feel it's enough :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Mandy......I hope your little one is feeling better today :flower3:.

Siobhan......I hope your little guy is feeling better :flower3:. I know what you mean about making up school days in June :headache:. We had a flood day early on in the year and they took away the Friday of Presidents weekend to make that day up :sad2:. Then school was called for all the ice we got the last day before Christmas break........so that one is tacked onto the end of the year . The delays throw me off my regular routine but atleast there's no making it up as the kids eventually get to school . I hope all you gals out that way stay safe with the weather that's coming your way :grouphug:.

Hi to everyone else :wave2:.

Deb :)

Watching out for the SCW PD

Morning ladies (and Marvel),

It's raining here, pouring actually. It's so dark out that my DS4 said "it's not morning yet there's no sun!" :) Then he was upset that I didn't have an umbrella for the three steps he takes from the car to the front door of the school! Spoiled! He doesn't like stepping in puddles so I had to carry him from the car to the school - three steps!! :rotfl2: The principal greets everyone by the door and was laughing. I said "The Prince can't get his feet wet"! :wizard:

I'm off to de-clutter the apartment. That's my 2009 goal, to be organized and live clutter free. I'm convinced that your surroundings effect the way you feel and my clutter is getting me down. I want everything boxed and labeled.

Oooh, Santa brought me a Wii Fit last night!!! He said he grabbed the last one at the store! :rotfl: He's been looking for it for weeks. I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to play with it tonight - as I have no idea how to connect/work the Wii :rotfl2: I need to learn!

Have a great day everyone.
Mare

Maxie: Unfortunatly, it is the one BM I can't "uninvite" :sad2:

Mare: I agree, clutter gets me down too and makes me feel bleh. No wonder I feel bleh all the time :rotfl: . I want a wii fit too! DF wants to go to a gym instead :confused3

Kelly: :lmao: . I love your line in your signature makes me smile everytime I read it :goodvibes

Have a great day everyone!

Morning!:) OK...so it's the day after Craig Ferguson disappointed me....day 1.:headache:

Kelly...omg....i likey the donkay! :rotfl: The happy laughing smiley will have to do...I am fried and too tired to laugh....omg...i am dragging this morning.....you guys keep me up too late.:rotfl2:

So that is weird Siobhan didn't have school and kelly did.:confused3 Hmm...ya I wonder about Shel. I can go either way on the snow days....it's fun when ya have them but stinks when it's 82 and sunny out and the kids have to go to school to make it up. I think we get out late this June too. We've had one this year so far.

Siobhan
....are ya feeling better? I bet you really needed a good sleep.

Mare..that is cool! :goodvibes I am so untechie though I'd be lost! I'd have to have Jojo show me how to do it. Or DS....whenever we want to do DDR we have to have one of them hook it up for us.

I love clutter. :rotfl: As long as it's MINE. I hate opcs. (other people's clutter) OPCS disturbs me....so i do kinda get how you feel with that unsettled feeling about clutter. Good luck on the organizing. Every time I go to my linen closet I feel good now and think of Mandy who gave me tips on how to organize it.:goodvibes It's awesome now.:)

OK...I am so tired I have to pump myself up with coffee....

Chan ...SCW Founding Team Member:rotfl: and PD Fan:cool2:
