Well I am done! Packing that is! If I have forgotten something it is out of my hands....The only thing I cant find is that little wrench to get the locked pins off KWIM? Whatevah...I will get more locks when I am there and it will come with one!

Kel that is sucko about the power!! I cant not believe the sights driving today! What you see on your news is really how it was for most of the day! We lost power about 4 am and then it came back on about 2 and I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Thank you God is all I kept saying! I had to go to Wal Mart and decided to take a break from packing. Well I drove and sat in traffic and got to the Mass/NH line and NH was pitch black! No stores open AT ALL! Strip mall after strip mall totally black! It was sooo creepy! I drove to another one anf that was closed, too!! I am so grateful that we are all okay and that no damage was done to the house!

I can check in on my phone's internet access...It is work though! I cant stay away for too long though! I will write when I am on the monorail or waiting for something/someone!

Man with my week I should have played the lottery! What is the chances that GF opens up and everyone around me has no power but I do??? Man I am counting my blessings!!!

You can see through to the entryway and sink area and bathroom. Bell services brought our luggage up right after this and we got our junk out and cluttered up the sink area! I meant to take a closer one before we left...

Great Pics. !!!!! Can you tell me if your room had a roll in shower?? We are booked for Deluxe RPC with a roll in shower and I was curious about what view we would have.... oh well either way I can't wait

Steffali - We did not have a roll in shower but there are a lot of deluxe rooms on that side of the building. Not sure where else the deluxes w/ 2 queen beds are located besides that section?! Sorry I'm not more help!

OMG that sounds awful! Glad you're safe and have power.

Not to think bad thoughts, but have you checked the flights to see how backed up the delays are?

We were delayed four hours on our return flight due to the heavy rains up north the day before. We were clear to take off in Orlando, but NY had us on hold. They said air traffic was backed up from the night before!!! All in all, we were okay. Boys had toys from the Disney Store at the airport (we went thru security twice! since the Disney Store is on the OUTSIDE of security but we had plenty of time!) The flight actually came in ahead of time due to the weather. The pilot said we had the wind pushing behind us. We were doing 750 miles an hour and made it to NYC in 1 hour and 40 mins! So we made up some time.

Oh I forgot to mention I saw Michelle Lee (from Knots Landing - okay I'm aging myself here! ) at baggage claim at JFK. She had flown in from Burbank on Jet Blue and we chatted about which baggage area our luggage was coming in on. She really aged and could use a face lift. She was dressed very nice with a beautiful black mink coat. She looked like an actress. You could just look at her and knew she was somebody.

Siobhan, I wish you nothing but a wonderful *event free* vacation and safe flight!

Mare I was a huge Knots Landing fan...Michelle Lee, Donna Mills! She was the best!! (letting my age show too...) Now there are shows like Rock of Love on ...(sorry any ROL fans!!) Gimme a good old night time soap opera any day...How about Dynasty!! All I can say is shoulder pads... Love the old shows....

Blue Skies - don't feel bad- I just bought my Christmas cards today! I am hoping to run down to the beach to take the kids picture sometime this weekend but it's supposed to be colder tommorow and Sunday!

If not, I'll be taking a pic at home or in front of the tree - I'm running out of time! Can't believe Christmas is in less than 2 weeks!

Good Morning everyone. Sounds like we left at the right time and missed the storm. We had a great day at the MK and GF. Spent lots of money in Basin. I think I bought 8 different soaps, couldn't decide so bought all of them. Off to Epcot today and Artist Point for dinner.

Chan, we like the Swan, still trying to get used to where things are. The beds are very comfortable, I could actually sleep. I also like the bathroom setup. I do not like when there is no sink in the toilet area.

Love the pics of the deluxe rooms. Kelly, is it too late to get a deluxe room?

Need to go find coffee. TTYL

Chan.....When I originally booked for July I didn't like the fact that is was kinda too late but I chose a little later to catch value season rather than regular . But I didn't like it because once we would have gotten back, the boys would have started school like 2 weeks later . I think they get out around June 2 or something like that ........so once we get back on the 26th, they've got a little over a month before school starts . Sometimes it's so frustrating picking dates . But I have to keep my June dates since I convinced my parents, brother, and sister to come along......I can't change my mind like I sometimes do . But it's good.....I'd rather have more time after we get back to get ready for school to start than have that time at the beginning . Good luck deciding what to do.....I hope you can catch a deal for July if that's when you really want to go .


Vanessa........Have a GREAT party . Just keep telling yourself that you'll be in Disney soon and all your worries and stress will disappear .
