The limo driver asked us (on the way back) how long we had stayed....and I said 6 nights..and he laughed. And i said HEY YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN WHAT I SHIPPED HOME!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! It has been a nice day and i have done very little around here........ my mom always calls me a min after I was officially born so that was nice that yet again she called and told me how much pain she was in just about then......
I put a roast in the crock pot this AM and we are about ot have a yummy dinner that i did nothing to make!

hopefully @ 7. I leave close to Raleigh so it will be a long day. My DH hates it, but hates to fly too, so we drive. South Carolina is the longest state - once I get to Georgia, I'm feeling good. . Whenever mine want friends to stay over it always seems to fall on nights where DH has to work or has something else to do the next day

OK, so it is kinda rude in a way, but my mom is not lovey dovey AT ALL. It is kinda nice that she remembers EVERY year and calls to tell me that i am officially older, I understand the reliving giving birth cause I do it too, I just don't tell my kids that they caused me pain! I just laugh because now I say yeah I know about the pain too mom, was it worth it? She is like of course, your still a pain though! LOL! Odd huh! Some people have odd ways of telling you they love you, you just gotta read between the lines Happy birthday Mandy. I hope it has been a good day.

Not as good as a tangled sweater though. I can leave my tangled sweater home this trip. We are staying at the Swan, don't need to wear one there. I told DH to get some clothes out and he put out 6 pair of shorts and 9 pair of white socks. We are only there 5 nights. Of course, you over packers won't see anything wrong with that. See why I pack for him. Don't know what he is planning to wear with the shorts, or if he was planning to change his undies. Off to get my hair done. We are going to Newport tonight, DS's DGF is in a chorus and they are singing at the Breakers.
Save some of your Disney shopping for when we go in Feb...I have A LOT to catch up on since I missed my Nov trip So now I am delegated up to my room....This is why I wish my basement was finished. LOL...I had three smelly 18 yr olds sleep over. The worst thing is that they always want my car. And then Zack had to serve a detention this morning for consistent tardies to a class...(OMG) so he had to drive everybody home about 7 am and then be back over at the HS by 8. He just came home...he looks hung over. I bet they stayed up all night. Usually our weekends are full of kids but I got rid of Lucy - she was at her friend's house and Jojo and Col and I watched a Xmas show she chose.....Mickey's Christmas.... I passed out on the sofa. NOw to buy for my parents.....that is the no fun, always difficult one. They want home made Xmas cookies so that is what we will be doing today so I can get them out in the mail by Tuesday to AZ. I have a few more things to pick up for the kids - that is fun....but my parents.....ugh. They don't mean to be difficult....but older, retired peeps with money are difficult. That is funny about your husband. I totally pack for mine. I pack for everybody but Zack. And...funny thing is...he always has the lightest luggage. Hmmm.....maybe I could get HIM to pack for US.
I know you won't. You'll have fun. I love the location...and the new rooms look BEAUTIFUL. Instead of frustration, we just turned our BWI stay into a family joke.....we had a lotta laughs on that one...... I really admire that. I don't have that. Hello?!?! That is where we live...in snow and water. They said they are for wearing in teh SAND!!!! Ew. Somehow that just sounds nasty. I bought her the Classic Talls in Chestnut so she can fold them over and show some fur...... 
it isn't gonnna happen. Back to bed I go. I have whatever stomach thing is going around. Up every 2 hours, exhausted and feeling crappy!

. . It took me awhile to get into the mood of Christmas coming so quick, but once I started shopping it just snowballed and I'm almost done . My inlaws are THE HARDEST to buy for . But I did somehow manage to come up with something for both of them this year so I'm good to go there . My mom usually has a list a mile long .....but my dad is another story....VERY HARD to buy for .. I keep telling DH we need to finish it SOON so all the kids could have their own space to chill and not be all over my house . One of these days . . Alot of nasty things are going around .
