Have a GRAND time Wendy!!!!! I will be thinking of ya.....hope you have great weather too!:wizard:

Kristin are you packed yet? I organized most of my things this weekend, all I have to do now is watch the weather and pack our clothes Friday night. I'll pm you a picture of my DH, myself and my parents tonight, if you see us, please say hello.

I hope everyone doesn't have too much snow. I heard this morning on the news about how bad some of the snow storms were up north. Stay warm - Lisa.

Good Morning Gals :surfweb:

The weather here is NASTY :sad2:. It snowed a little last night and this morning was just horrible with the wind and COLD :cold:. The roads are all icey and just makes for a TERRIBLE day :headache:. I didn't realize there were so many trips coming up this week .

Wendy......I may be a little late but have a GREAT TRIP :cool1: :cool1:. I didn't realize you were leaving already . I hope you have great weather :). Feel better soon so you can enjoy your trip :flower3:.

Kristin......Your turn is coming up here too :dance3:. How many more days for you :confused3?

Lisa.....Have a fun time on your trip :yay:.

Chan.....What's the weather like up by you??? It's absolutely HORRIBLE here . And I think we're in for some more of this stuff over the next few days :headache:. Maxie's got the right idea.....THINK SPRING :rotfl: :rotfl:.

Hi to the rest of you gals :wave2:.

Deb :)

Morning GALS! :goodvibes

Wow it feel like I have been away for months! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and black friday! We had a nice LONG weekend just doing fun family stuff, we decorated the house and the tree is up and pretty and the kids did a cheapo ginger bread house from walmart...... I am not bold enough to try and make my own :scared:

I missed pages and pages and the worst part is I missed wishing Kelly & Kristin........

party: party:Happy Birthday! party: party:

I have a friend that says she is 29.95 plus shipping and handling! :rotfl:

Maxie......sorry about offending your dog......i have never even noticed your avatar....... :flower3:

We have had a very crazy and eventful weekend, I choked on a piece of bacon saturday and my sister had to do the heimlich maneuver....... then an hour later dd2 choked too and I had to grab it out of the back of her throat...... :scared1: Thank GOD I am a nurse and know how to do that kind of stuff. It is kinda funny now about me having to get the H...... but not about DD. It was scary to see my baby like that, she go to the not coughing and making any sound and turning blue stage and was grabbing her throat...... her little eyes had this look I wont forget for a while. :sad1: Lets just say my sister will not be making anymore bacon wrapped cocktail weenies for football parties! :scared:

Yesterday we had bad storm come through the area and one of my parent houses ended up with a tree in the middle of it..........DH was on top of their roof spreading a tarp and I was in side sucking up water with a wet vac as fast as i could and it was just pouring into the house. Crazy weekend!

Have a great day ladies ~ :goodvibes

By the way: I am SOOOO glad DS6 and DD5 are back in school.......DS about drove me CRAZY being home a whole week! NOW i understand that commercial where the parents are school supply shopping and the most wonderful time of the year song is playing! I am dreading summer!

Forgot to add to the above and for some reason if wont let me edit? :confused3

The dog search continues...... we have found a pair of free Weimaraners......they are 5 yo. Is that too old? I need all you dog experts to help me out! I just don't want to get a dog that will die on us sooner than later, kwim? I also don't know if I wont both...... they will separate them but i feel bad separating them, like breaking up dog buddies. I just don't think i can handle them both. I think of old yeller and the dog missing his dog buddy. Sad. :sad1:

Maxie ~ I was just looking at your avatar and your dog has a hidden mickey! How COOL!

OK so is Nala a boxer? She does not look like the boxers I have seen....... she is really cute and the boxers I have seen are just not cute IMHO....... I gotta have a cute face to look at if i am gonna deal with fur and slobber and being licked........ :rotfl2:

Morning.....

Mandy! OMG HOW SCARY! I am glad you and your daughter are both OK. LOL on the summer thingy....I used to LOVE summer....now that all three of my kids are in school I HATE summer.:rotfl: It does have it's benefits....but this is so nice having the house to myself.:goodvibes And my LIFE is my own!!!!:cool1: UGh....if they are considered a large breed 5 yrs is on the older side. My Tatum will be 5 in 10 days and I am sad. She is still very puppy but I remember when I got her...CLEAR AS A BELL...my neighbor kid says to me, "You know...my dad said these dogs only live til about 5 yrs old"..:sad1: :sad1: She is very healthy (KNOCK ON WOOD) though. And so loved and pampered.....so I am hoping for a long life for her....but not sure how large the wiemers get or what their life spans are averaging.

The weather is WICKED! (there's one for ya - an easy one) We have snow and blustery blowing snow that is howling. IT's beautiful....but frigid and horizontal.

Hey...here's a code for ya all....at Borders dot com...use CM2008 for 40% off the entire stock of boxed DVD sets. Limit 2. I just bought Lu and Jo each something for Xmas.

Also...Eddie Bauer...PERFECT gets you free shipping AND 30% off everything.

ANY Whoooo......

I am here...in my pjs....watching GMA....it's a lazy Monday morning.;)

Talk to ya later!
Channing :)

Good morning everyone!

I have missed a lot around here!

First off, Happy birthday (late) to Kristen and Kelly! I hope you both had great days!

Kristen: 4 days today for you! You must be so excited

Wendy: I hope you have a great trip!

Mandy: OMG, what a horrible weekend! I'm sure you're glad it's over! My BFF has a boxer that is cute like Nala (maybe not quite that cute, though). I think some of them have something done to their ears that makes them look different. Her mom has a little boy at home, and the boxer is fabulous with him.

Channing: Have fun buying stuff online!

Have a great day everyone!

Morning All!

Happy Late Birthday Kelly! Sorry I missed it yesterday. I hope you did something more fun than just :laundy: .

Mandy...OMG! I am glad you two are ok. I know just the look you are talking about on DD's face. that is an expression I hope to never, ever, see again on my child. Terrifying!!!

Wendy left already? Or is leaving soon? How did I miss that??? Sorry! Have a great time wendy!!!!

Chan- Thanks for the Borders code...off to shop!! :)

Mandy.....How scary about you and your daughter choking!!!! I'm glad the both of you are ok :flower3:. I can imagine the look on your daughter's face.....I would have FREAKED if that were one of mine :scared:. Good for you for keeping your cool and doing what you had to do :thumbsup2. Good luck with the doggie situation ;). If it's any consolation......I wasn't sure about getting a dog either because of the hair :scared1:....I am such a neat freak :rolleyes1........but I wouldn't give Hunter up for anything....and I know once you get that cute, snuggly dog you'll feel the same way :goodvibes.

Chan.....I don't know much about dogs since I've only had Hunter for 3 years and he's the first dog I've ever had....but my cousin had a dalmation (which just passed away last month :sad1:) that was to turn 14 years old this month. When she bought her dog, she was told Dalmations don't live much past 8-10 years.......and her's lived 14.....so don't be too sad about Tatum just yet as she may have lots of years left :goodvibes. But I hear ya because they say labs don't live much past 10 years and Hunter is already 3....I can't imagine only having him for just another 5-7 years :sad2:.

Deb :)

Mandy: :scared1: Glad you and DD are ok.:goodvibes You didn't offend my dog. She knows she is cute.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Yes, Nala is a boxer. IKWYM most boxers aren't as cute as Nala, and she is much smaller than average too. I have been noticing boxers now that we have one. She was the runt of the litter and very sick when she was born. I knew nothing about boxers until DS's DGF brought her home for him. Boxers have great temperments and would be a wonderful dog for kids. They do require a lot of attention though. They are usually between 50 and 65 pounds and they think they are lap dogs.:rotfl2: I would think twice before gettiing older dogs. They may not be as good around the kids if they haven't grown up with them.

It is warming up here today, in the 50's.:yay: 109 days until spring.

I couldn't sleep last night and got up at 3:00 and wrapped presents. Now I have to finish the tree.

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!

Happy Birthday Kel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great trip Wendy!!!!!!!!!

Hope Chan is feeling better! :wizard:

Mandy- that is HORRIBLE about the choking. Thank goodness you are both arlright!

Woke up to 4 inches of snow :sad2: 4 more days and we are OUTTA here!!

I started ironing stuff yesterday for DS and I. DH promises to pick out his stuff tomorrow night. If not, I am packing for him!! I haven't pulled out suitcases yet, though. I will drag them out Thursday after I take the dog to my parents. I just have a thing about clothes sitting in suitcases any longer than necessary. :confused3 I will get it all done Thursday while DS is at school :thumbsup2

Accuweather and The Weather Channel have conflicting info on the weather. One says rain, one says sunny  (Of course, I choose to believe the sunny!) I had to chuckle though, since the only rain they are showing is on our AK day. It always rains on our AK day- ALWAYS!!! And of course they are both saying 70 on the day we want to swim :sad2:

TTYL!

Kristin~ here is the local weather station....... I honestly dont think they can predict more than 7 days out accuratly :confused3

I do know that if it calls for rain most of the time in FLA it is very isolated area that get rain, lets hope it stays away from AK! FLA has crazy weather!

Good Afternoon Gals!

Deb,Channing and Kristen Snow...:scared: Hope the weather will get better as the day goes on...

It is in the 50's here today...I'm not complaining but it is kind of wacky...one day heavy coat gloves the next spring jacket...:confused3

Mandy Glad you and your DD are ok..

Channing Thanks for the codes...another excuse to shop!:)

Lisa Didnt realize that you were leaving so soon too...Have a great trip!

You too Kristin!! hoping for sunshine...I would like the 80's a few days to sit at the pool....

Have a good day all...:flower3:

Thanks for the link!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saturday is the day I care about most now since that was supposed to be a swim day. We are ticketless until Sunday so it might make for a boring day if its too cold to swim! Maybe we will see Bolt at the West Side or something

Last May, on our last morning, we left MK and it was pouring. When we got to Pop it was bone dry! :lmao: And it never did rain there! Hopefully the rain will stay away from AK on Monday (and far away from MK next Thursday for MVMCP and away from EPCOT next Friday when we have the CP package. It poured for our CP in 2006 :sad1: And the covered seats are reserved for family members of the performers :sad2: )

Kristin I read that the taping of the Christmas Parade will be on Saturday...I think that day the MK will be crazy..

I actually tried to get tickets just so we could get in the park, but they were already gone before I knew about it. Oh well, I can find stuff to do! We can check out some of the holiday decs at the deluxe resorts, DH wants to rent a Boston Whaler for an hour or so, we can go to ESPN club and have a beer or two (or 3 ;) ) We'll be fine!

This time of year is so nice with all of the decorations...I love to go to all of the monorail hotels just to look at them all...:santa: One of these days I'll get over to the EPCOT hotels too:rotfl:

The EPCOT hotels are so pretty!!!!!! They have some awesome gingerbread displays over there!!

I was thinking that after we take the taxi from Pop with all our crap, we could rent the boat and then see the monorail hotels. Then stop at MK and take a bus to the YC (or whichever bus shows up first) and see all those hotels. Pit stop in ESPN club for a cocktail. Maybe rent a surrey bike and then head to DTD for an early dinner at T Rex.

Does anyone know if the mini golf certs can be used early??? We have the free round that came with our package, but our package doesn't start until the 7th. I thought maybe we could use it on the 6th at Fantasia Gardens since we are already over there

Of course, a heat wave could come through and we could just swim like I wanted to! :rotfl:

Kristin A visit to ESPN is a must for my guys on every trip...Sounds like the EPCOT resorts must be very nice to visit also...

My vote is for the heat wave....:thumbsup2
