Mare......Good luck with the packing ;). Have a nice trip :flower3:.

Thanks :goodvibes

Mare...ooh...I don't swim unless it's mid to high 80s myself...but Jojo would swim in any temp...so it just depends on the kid. And your guys are little...which means YOU have to swim, too.....uh uh..not me. I don't think 82 degree water - which Disney CLAIMS they heat their pools to - is warm enough unless it's summer...we heat ours to 86-88 and on a breezy day I am cold. :rotfl: Usually by mid summer the sun and the solar fish heat it up in the low to mid 90s and THAT is nice....sometimes we have to add cold water.:rotfl:

DS4 is DYING to go to Blizzard Beach! Right now channel 2 (is that wesh?) is reporting 78 degrees on t-giving. Should there be no clouds, and a hot sun it might be pool weather?? I hope for his sake it we have one warm day. He wants nothing more than to go to a water park.

If there are little ones in the kiddie pool, my boys will join them. I like to sit by the pool when it's really warm out like in the 90s in June. But they don't care. I just don't want it to be cool out and they get chilly. If it's warm out, that's fine. I wish this cold front would pass

im glad she didnt name her son Queens. :)

I thought that too! :rotfl2: Or Westchester, Yonkers, Staten Island, :lmao:

She got it for FREE!!! She reminded him how many times I've booked and how many times between me, kel and siobhan we've recommended them to others.......so he said THIS ONE"S ON ME~!!!

Chan

You deserve it!! :yay: Honestly, I couldn't see you on DME :rotfl2:

Sorry Jojo is sick, I hate when they give you that "look". DS4 didn't really want to go to school today either. He wanted today to be a gym day and it's not. They only have gym on Tues/Thurs. He was so mad. I kept telling him it's his last day before WDW. He didn't really understand that were leaving Monday. He kept saying tomorrow we're going to the airport? :) So I had to finally promise him he could hang the candy canes on the tree when he came home. Which lead to, when is santa bring the presents for under our tree :rotfl2:

I really need to get my butt up and get some things done! I have no desire to but time is a ticking! :)

Hey again....LOL...;)

Wow...I am a traditionalist here!! I have the harvest stuff...pumpkins, scarecrows, dried stuff...out until the day after Thanksgiving!!! THEN it is the MEGA transformation. :goodvibes It is not Xmas season YET!!

I'm usually that way too. It's just with us going to WDW until 12/1, it feels like the xmas tree will be up for such a short time if we put it up the weekend after we're back which is 12/6.

I've never put up the tree this early before, but there's a first time for everything :)

In designing the new house, I've asked DH for a small storage room (under the laundry room - about the same size) just to store my holiday decorations. I'm looking forward to decorating the entire house for each season. I just don't have storage right now to do it. I'm surprised he didn't respond that I was nuts :rotfl: He said we can make it work. So this year I'll be stocking up the day after xmas for next years decorating!! :yay:

Do you ever watch QVC? I love their temptations line. My mom had bought me a few pieces and they now have this holiday collection. You sign up and every 3 months they send you a new set for that season. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to.

Hey again....LOL...;)

Thanks, Deb.:)
I was all dressed and had my down jacket on...(had to stop for gas on the way & NOT looking forward to THAT!!! - where's the shivering smiley?) and Jojo was just so pathetic and looked at me with her sad chocolate eyes...so I took my jacket off and said FINE. GO TO BED.:sad2: I don't know what is wrong with her. SHe looks a little icky....but she does this every morning with the not feeling well junk.
See ya soon!?!?
Chan

DS15 does that to me ALL THE TIME :headache:. It's always something......my stomach is upset.....I have a headache.....I just don't feel good.....OMG.......it is never ending with him :rotfl: :rotfl:. He said something this morning when I woke him up and I told him to get up and get ready because he only has today and 3 days next week and he's not missing any more school . He missed quite a few at the beginning of the year due to allergies......he's allowed 10 a semester and I think he's already missed around 7 :scared1:. I told him he's not missing any more between now and Christmas break :rotfl2: :rotfl2:. Then I have DS13 who hasn't missed a day yet with no complaining :). Boy how the 2 of them are complete opposites .

OMG.........that's awesome.....can't get a better deal than that :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2.

Deb :)

Morning...... well I am sick, got the stomach bug everyone else had..... at one point last night I asked my hubby to kill me! :rotfl: The good thing is this thing only has lasted 12 hours but my whole body hurts and I am dehydrated and exhausted...... I am glad we are done so i can spend next week baking and eating and shopping!

I HAD to get up out of bed to deal with kids this AM and pay the bills online..... DH has no clue how to pay any of our bills and of course all but one I pay online.

Back to bed!

Morning All!

I see its been a busy one...:)

Vanessa and Lisa Hope you are both feeling better...

Channing Hope Jo is too...

Mare No matter what the weather reports are...I'd bring summer and fall season clothes...layers...the Nov/Dec weather can be unpredictable...the one time I wasnt prepared...cold spell:sad2:(overall though I think mids 70's no humidity fall weather is the best!) Hope the kids can swim...shouldnt be bad especially during the day...might be a little too chilly in the evening though...

Celebrities and their childrens names...:confused3

We dont decorate until after Thanksgiving either...I love all of the fall decorations...But the next day...out with the fall and in with the Christmas decorations:santa: No matter how old the kids get decorating the tree is always something we all love to do....

February Gals WTG on the free limo...:woohoo:

Marvel I still have cha cha cha chia stuck in my head...:rotfl:

Have a nice day everyone:flower3:

Mandy: Sorry your not feeling well. Hope you can get some rest.

Blue Skies: Thanks for the packing tips. I always start freaking out at this time :rotfl2:

I'm really getting off this computer now! :rotfl2: I have to go take apart my bedroom closet. I seemed to have "misplaced" a pair of diamond earrings. DH gave me these earrings in front of Cinderella Castle on my 30th birthday and I ALWAYS wear them in WDW! Well, I haven't worn them since June when he bought me a new pair (which the new pair I left in the Poconos on the dining room table!). I know I put them in our safe in the closet (yes, we have the same thing like the resorts :)) I'm PRAYING :worship: they fell out of the safe and are on the floor somewhere among DH's shoe collection. I know they're in the box, because the box is missing. I have got to find them.

Now this will delay my packing, cleaning and baking!! :headache:

OH, Mandy! I am sorry you wound up sick!! Feel better quick. I hate that I would rather be dead feeling.:sad1: :sad1: I hope you are past that.

Hi, Blue Skies.
Thanks for the good wishes for Jojo...it's hard to tell with her if she is really SICK or just in the mood for some extra Scooby Doo.:rotfl: I told her GO TO BED......we'll see how long she remains "sick". My daughters and I love to do the trees. That's our thing. We will do it the weekend after Thanksgiving. I love the fall decorations for now.:)

I know! WTG on the limo!:thumbsup2 They wanted ME to ask about a discount:eek: ...that is so not my thing..I am uncomfortable with doing that...so Siobhan schmoozed her magic and I can't believe the outcome.:goodvibes

Mare.
..good luck finding the earrings!!

Good Morning all!

I am sorry I got everyone sick!! :sad2: If it's any consolation, it doesn't last long!

I have to run a bunch of errands but I had to stop by and change my siggie (points down) We are getting close!!!!!! :cool1:

TTYL GALS

Vanessa: My DH tans year round. He's like George Hamilton! He swears by Clarins Self Tanner (in the red tube) which he buys in Bloomingdales and Comodynes Self Tanning Towelettes (our Bed Beth & Beyond sells them in the Health & Beauty section)

I meant to ask you;
Does your husband know you are talking about his secret personal grooming habits? :rotfl:
Are you guys Native NYers? NYers are supposed to be pale in the winter... Then you get to look forward to that first warm day of spring.... and lay out in the sun get your tan AND watch the opposite sex trying to get thier tans too... ;)

Wait a minute....i just saw you said year round! Why would he use that stuff during the summer? Are you forcing him to use it so no other ladies check him out? :)

Just taking a short break from cleaning to see what's going on :surfweb:.

Mandy......That stinks that the bug got you too . I hope it doesn't last long and you start feeling better soon .

Kristin........ONLY 14 MORE DAYS......WOO HOO :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:. That will come around in no time :thumbsup2. Glad everyone in your house is well again :flower3:.

Chan........How's Jojo.....is she feeling better :confused3???

Have a nice afternoon all :flower3:. Better get some more stuff done around here........it'll be 3:00 before I know it and the boys will be home . TTYL :).

Deb :goodvibes

My DH is a product junkie! :rotfl: He has more products in his bathroom than I have in mine! He's very well groomed.

Yes, we're both native NYers :thumbsup2

He likes the way he looks with a tan, and hates when it disappears. He uses the wipes in the summer every other day to keep the tan.

Actually, he's quite attractive and I'm sure a lot more ladies are checking him out WITH the tan.

And I would never force him to do anything. He's man enough to walk into the mass of cosmetic counters in Bloomies and get his own tanning supplies. And he's thoughtful enough to stop by the Mac counter and buy me some lipsticks too :goodvibes

He has his own bathroom? I think i'm falling for him :rotfl:

Seriously, now im jealous!!!
If i ever design my own home Im putting in a secret bathroom with a door to sneak out of the house!

Okay, I'm feeling nauseous and it's not a stomach bug. I can't find my earrings! I searched my entire bedroom, the closets, under the bed, even my handbags - nothing! It's not the value, they are insured, they're just so special to me.

DS1 is fighting going down for his nap. Once he's sleeping I can put up the tree.

Chan: I think your post got deleted with your response to me about the gingerbread house. I now remember those build-a-bear boxes! :goodvibes I'm going to ask the flight attendants if I could hold something like that on our return flight. JetBlue makes you stuff everything overhead.

Oh, and with you about walking thru the lobby in a swimsuit :thumbsup2

Mare.
...MY POST got deleted?!?!?!? MINE?!?!?!  :headache: :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Because...oh...I know why. Oh...well I was just stating the fact.

Geesh....

I barely fly JB because they have only 2 nonstops from Ohare.:guilty: So....You're right though....they might not let the gingerbread house sit on your lap....myabe you could buy it a seat??!?!?:thumbsup2

Didn't you know the secret to a happy marriage is his and her bathrooms ;) I also share mine with the boys since mine has the tub. DH's has a shower.

Actually he does have some requests in the new Pocono home we're building. He'd like to have a three car garage to store his "toys" and a cinema room, which I personally find hilarious. He wants to build it himself with stadium seating with lights on the steps and lazy boy recliners! As long as I have my own little storage room for stuff and my boys have a playroom I could careless what he does with the rest of the basement :rotfl2:

Oh and he's not getting his "own" bathroom in that house. We're just going to have to share. But believe me, it's going to have major storage space for all his stuff! He's not cluttering up my counter space!
