Well just came home to a message on the machine....my son is bringing me more joy. He earned himself a 2 hour detention on Saturday for continuous tardies.

HEy.....I am getting a bit P*SSED about that stupid "Is Disney Closing POP" thread.....

The news reported a creepy story about Pop closing, 10K CMs being let go...and then there is NOTHING else about it anywhere online or on the Channel 9 website....People are very nervous and there are toooools over on that thread laughing and getting a kick out of people being worried about their jobs.

This was the ORlando Channel 9 news....and CMs heard it and were stunned....and then Poof it's gone.

Lotsa nice peeps on the DIS.

Sometimes I am really REALLY surprised at how mean people can be.....but then again I have been reading this thing for a while so why am I still surprised?

NOT you all.....you're all on my NICE LIST....but those NAUGHTY ONES need to take a hike.

Hi all!

The germs are gone!!!!I feel a million times better and DS slept for 13 hours last night and was raring to go this AM! No fever, minimal stuffiness so off he went! Let's hope it stays away!!!

I'm sorry Chan but I just have to laugh because my son is bringing me the same joy . DS15 came home about 2 weeks ago with a warning that if he has one more tardy in English.........which is his FIRST CLASS OF THE DAY .....he will get a detention . I asked him how on earth can he have a tardy in his first class with me taking him to school everyday.....knowing for darn sure he gets there in PLENTY of time .....of course no response . I always thought it was just my kid doing crap like this . Oh the joys of raising teens . I don't think I'll make it through these high school years .

Wow..... my car is out front all the time!

I guess you got your Bloomingdale's and doormen and I get to go to my car anytime! I guess their are trade offs to living in Green Acers! Having my car out front and a yard full of grass, keep your park avenue, Dahling!

Seriously, if you compare our lives it is so like the Green acres theme song!

I always sing that song when I'm in the Poconos and I miss the conveniences of the city!

I like having my car in the garage, no snow to clean off of it

Mare- everytime I read about your doorman, I keep thinking about the Seinfeld episode where Jerry ticks off the doorman at Mr. Pitts apartment and someone steals the couch from the lobby! I've always lived in a house, never an apartment, so this doorman thing is a hoot to me!!!

I've never seen that Seinfeld, but it does happen! Someone was getting a furniture delivery and the delivery guy put a very expensive chair in the area that's used for "bulk garbage" well someone came along and took the chair!!! The driver came in from his delivery truck and couldn't find the chair!!! They had to have the management search the security tapes and found that a doctors wife stole the chair!!! The got it back from her!

I do love my city living perks. I also love the green grass of the country, large homes, and oh do I want a pantry and laundry room! Soon enough.

Gotta feed these munchkins!

There was a bus accident at the school today. One of the small buses was hit by a car and the bus flipped on it's side They had the road closed down for awhile (I can see the road from my house). Mercifully the fire station is right there, so the ambulance cold get there in under a minute if needed. I sure hope the kids weren't hurt

NO CAVITIES! It wasn't that bad and a pretty quick cleaning but they have to redo 3 of my sealants in 2 weeks. Of course insurance doesn't pay for them...

I met a friend for a late lunch and we sat and talked and laughed so long that it was time to pick up the kids! So no Marshall's - hopefully tommorow!

I was just reading the menus for all of the different restaurants in the parks and hotels on Thanksgiving...dont ask me why-its not like I'll be there then... anyway lots of good choices...for anyone who will be there

Morning- Went to the grocery store two times yesterday to get groceries for a little party tonight and Thanksgiving next week. BUT...I forgot COFFEE. I am totally out! It is gonna be a LONG day!

This weekend we have our meet up in Romeoville so we will be leaving tomorrow some time. I hope I feel better. I really wish I were going to be home to get some stuff done around here. Xmas still 1/2 up.

My FIL got home last night. He is CRABBY because he cannot drive for a few days so that means he and Raymond's mother (my MIL- cannot remember her name on the show) will be home alone together. She drives him NUTS most of the time. I actually feel sorry for him. Poor guy!

Morning everyone!

I have lots to do today! I have to put up the xmas tree. It's been out of storage and just sitting in the corner of our living room. DS4 wants to hang candy canes on it when he comes home from school. I promised him it will be up!!

I still haven't packed!! I keep checking the weather. It looks like it's warming up now and going to be in the 70s. Is that pool weather?? Can I pack shorts and tees for day?? Will it be that warm??

I have to do some baking today as tomorrow we're celebrating T-giving. DH yelled that we have all this food in the fridge and we're leaving Monday His sister is going to have lots of leftovers!

Hey did you see Ashlee Simpson had a baby boy. She named him Bronx Mowgli. Isn't Mowgli from the Jungle Book? I kinda like the name Bronx, I like unique names. I'm just happy she didn't go with Brooklyn, that's so over used.

I was all dressed and had my down jacket on...(had to stop for gas on the way & NOT looking forward to THAT!!! - where's the shivering smiley?) and Jojo was just so pathetic and looked at me with her sad chocolate eyes...so I took my jacket off and said FINE. GO TO BED. I don't know what is wrong with her. SHe looks a little icky....but she does this every morning with the not feeling well junk.

Mare...ooh...I don't swim unless it's mid to high 80s myself...but Jojo would swim in any temp...so it just depends on the kid. And your guys are little...which means YOU have to swim, too.....uh uh..not me. I don't think 82 degree water - which Disney CLAIMS they heat their pools to - is warm enough unless it's summer...we heat ours to 86-88 and on a breezy day I am cold. Usually by mid summer the sun and the solar fish heat it up in the low to mid 90s and THAT is nice....sometimes we have to add cold water.

omg..mowgli. give me a break....what are these people thinking??? I like different names too....but not WEIRD names......yep..that's from Jungle Book.

Wow...I am a traditionalist here!! I have the harvest stuff...pumpkins, scarecrows, dried stuff...out until the day after Thanksgiving!!! THEN it is the MEGA transformation. It is not Xmas season YET!!
