Just got back from voting and running to the store . Not too many people in front me so I was out of there in about 10 minutes . DH went at 6:00 this morning on his way to work and he said people were already lined up who got there at 5:15 to stand in line . He was actually there for about 45 minutes .....but we're both done and voted .


Amy.....WTG on the SWA credit .


Mandy.....Congrats on DS being class president . Glad he's enjoying himself and doing well with going to school .

Hey girls! (And Marvel - are there any other men over here that I am missing )

I had a great lunch and good old fashioned gossip session with my friend. Chan, our waitress from yesterday seated us! Today's service, not as good though

I finished up so more Christmas shopping after lunch!! DS is almost done, my niece is done (speaking of nieces- Blue Skies- tell Here Comes the Sun "We want pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!" ), my grandmother is done, my mother is done... I am making GREAT progress!!!

I keep looking at Disneyshopping to see if the holiday outfits are out yet I had DS dress up in his formal Mickey gear for MVMCP in 2006 and I think I can probably still convince him to do it again this year if it's cute...

He should be home soon, so I can't wait to hear about the Opera (singing- not being sarcastic!)

Dawn I didnt know you cancelled your Thanksgiving trip..I must have missed that post ...sorry to hear that ...DH wont go in the summer again so I'm thinking June next year...I wish I could join you girls for breakfast but being in NY would make that a little hard to do ...BTW didnt get to really enjoy DWTS last night because DH was his usual channel changing self...and I kept missing stuff!!
Traci Although I really enjoy cooking and a little baking too I like to keep things simple..if I have to buy a spice that I've never heard of or anything like that for a recipe its not for me...Good luck with your Thanksgiving cooking!

I think in December I'm going to make reservations at Citricos for dinner and I was thinking maybe one dinner at DTD..any ideas...havent been there in a while...

Kristin......Sounds like you're really moving along with the Christmas shopping . I think I'd be trying to get it done too if I was leaving on vacation in just 31 days . How did DS's "Day at the Opera" go today???

Blueskies, we went in June a couple of times and it was hot hot hot and crowded. It also rained a lot, not just the usual afternoon thundershower either. We never went anywhere without our poncho's. A lot of schools get out at the end of May or very beginning of June, so it starts to get crowded by mid June. Of course, if that is the only time you can go it is better than not going. A hot crowded day in Disney is better than any day at work.
We waited until after work to vote and there was nobody in line. I guess we picked a good time for a change. They said that the lines were long this morning. I am so glad this election is over. I am tired of all the ads.

The highest rated concierge club is the Boardwalk's Innkeeper's Club, which is recommended by all 100% of the reviewers with a 9.4 rating. The Boardwalk Rooms and Concierge Lounge were renovated earlier this year so everything has a fresh clean look. You love the Concierge Cast Members and many folks mentioned them by name. You also love the location of the resort, the food offerings in the club and the beautiful landscaping. There were few complaints but the biggest one is the bus service. It should be noted that for years, the Polynesian's Concierge Level was rated highest however it seems to have fallen a few pegs.

The lowest rated Concierge Club may surprise you, the Grand Floridian recommended by only 83% of you with an average rating of 8.0. The pros are location, lounge areas, dining options, and amenities. The low points included several reviewers who felt the Cast Members were not up to par, the dormer rooms being quite small for a deluxe resort and that the Grand Floridian isn't as kid friendly as some of the other concierge clubs.

WOw...that is surprising...I wonder how many people actually "voted" in this little survey. I have stayed at all the club levels....excpet Wl and AKL..and I really think GF is best. Weird. And we have alwyas thought SUPER kid friendly and SO NICE....and the concierge cast members = MAGICAL......BWI = BIG TIME DISappointing.

We ate dinner kind of late so I was busy cleaning up ....and doing laundry...the kids had friends over today....i did a few other things to catch up and take advantage of them being occupied. I did want to see HSM3 though!!! Oh well...i think i want to see it more than the girls do!

Jojo waited til the last minute to do homework...so had to take care of that business too.

Kristin, that is funny about the same waitress...i bet she was probably ticked wiht us for beign there so long. How was your salad? That is adorable about your DS and the "Opera"....omg...what will they think of next....too cute. I love it.

You guys are killing me with your Xmas shopping!!! HOw do you even KNOW what to buy people???? I don't evne think about it til Thanksgiving.....nobody even mentions Christmas until then....well..Jojo does...but it's because the toy commercials are rampant on Nick and Cartoon Network!!!! My pick did not win, but I know how much this means to so many and it is great that this election had no issues like years past (esp in FL ) I am glad to be able to move on and know that we are done for 4 years! Now it's time to start praying for Barack Obama as he prepares to take office as the 44th president and try and fix the mess America is in!

Totally agree Mandy. I am happy about the pick but I almost feel sorry for the poor guy. I cannot even imagine walking in to such a mess. One thing I have to admit is I loved seeing his little girls take the stage. I think it will be nice to have some little ones in the White House.

Ahhh...a well deserved day for me! Both of my children go to school all day today and I cant wait! I just have 1 nail client then I am off to do what I want to do! It was a tough day yesterday!!! My voice was killing me!! I must have said my kids names at least a 1000 times yesterday! So glad it is Wednesday!!

No title yesterday so hopefully today! Oh yeah, we got a Tahoe! Gas lovin' SUV that it is! But it has nice heated leather seats and a DVD player for the kids and a third row! I need all that! It is just sitting in my driveway waiting for me to come and drive it! LOL

Siobhan and Mandy- You two are so amazing..in a wonderful way! (Both of you are better people than I am.)

I am honestly proud today to be part of this country, proud and excited in a way I have not been for many years. I truly hope that the country can get behind him in a way that many were never able to get behind the Bush administration. I wish him a safe Presidency because I also agree that there are too many Nutballs out there!!!
