I have one huge bag of candy left out of FOUR .....but not to worry....it's all that sugary stuff like sweet tarts, those red hot fire balls (or whatever they're called )....things I do not like as I gotta have my CHOCOLATE . I can sit and stare at that other stuff all day and not touch a thing!!!! That's how I get through Halloween.....never buy the candy I like

They are just WILD and out of control and with all the girls they are cliquey in their group....like 3 go into the bathroom to pow wow...and the others are like..."Why are they in there laughing?" And then they get mad.....and then several were out with me in the yard having a bonfire and happily telling ghost stories etc...and others are "bored" and moaning.....and then they played flashlight tag...but some didn't want to....omg...I am annoyed. 
10pm cannot come fast enough.

It was so funny, too, because I was thinking it was kinda fun....but then the crying started....one of LUcy's friends was supposed to bring some stuff over for LUcy's costume...(they were going to be surfers that had been attacked by sharks) well....she didn't bring it....no call nothing. Just blew it off AFTER I had bought the stuff and picked the girls up a few days ago after school to work on their surfboards....she just blew Lucy off. She came here all dressed in HER surfer outfit but didn't bring what she said she would for Lucy to wear...so Lucy was sad but she decided to be a pirate...anyway....long story short...it got ugly while they were trick or treating...the other girl came back early crying saying Lucy was mean to her about it (which I seriously highly doubt..if you knew Lucy you'd understand - she is super sweet)...then about 5 min later LUcy and others came back and Lucy started crying and saying **** was gossiping about her.....

!!!! I guess I have no words of wisdom since I have two boys and haven't had the pleasure of raising girls . JK .....but I can't believe the one girl stiffed Lucy on the costume stuff 
.....so uncalled for !!! And trick or treating is supposed to be FUN....NOT filled with crying . But poor Lucy......I can tell by how you've talked about her that she's just a sweet girl 
.....I'm sure she wasn't mean to that other girl!!!!! So when you said DRAMA.........you weren't kidding . I'm sorry for all the trouble you're having and the night didn't go as planned . But look on the bright side......it's 10:07 according to my clock

Its already past my bedtime...
. All that sweet sugary stuff does absolutely NOTHING for me.......so bags of that can sit around with no temptation for me . I tell him he might as well just sit and eat the sugar out of the bowl if he's gonna eat that stuff . . One DS is staying over night at a buddy's and the other one came home after trick or treating . But older DS is always wanting to be picked up on HIS schedule......although he comes home plenty of times before he wants to . It just gets too late sometimes and my bedtime is early ......and I'm usually the one running around doing the picking up . I always tell him he's lucky he got to go out at all .

But I won't be letting her invite 25 girls to our house again this year. Learned my lesson on that! And those were her dearest 10 friends. Scary. It's over!!!!!!!!!!! ! Chan you crack me up! Girls are terrible. Hopefully you will recover by January! That really stinks about Lucy's costume. 
what were you thinking. We live at the end of a dead end street, over 600 feet from the road, so we never get trick or treaters. Halloween comes and goes unnoticed. It has also been awhile since we had to pick up DS past our bedtime, DH was the one to make to late runs. It is actually worse when they start to drive, you still can't sleep until they are home safely.

I bet your not too sad that Shawn has his last football game today... so we are still chauffering her all around...DH usually makes the late runs here too but I often go and keep him company

I'll tell ya what....if I didn't have kids I'd be having a Bloody Mary (or 2) this morning...with lots of Tobasco & green olives and a peppered rim. BUT...I have kids...and that's why I want a Bloody Mary. Nasty cycle. I just wanted to be super mom. I have to say though...my daughters appreciate it all so that makes it worth the pain. I'd do it again...but not 6 hours and not 25 girls. I am learning my limits as I go. )
I am waiting for my groceries to be delivered. I am being very lazy today, don't think I am going to get much done. Maybe I'll just work on my trip planning. Planning 2 trips at once is hard work.
