Poor thing. Hopefully the day gets better for him. Is it all day kindergarten or 1/2 day?

I was like um no, he is very socialized! ANd told her that he had been to preschool and was very involved in lots of things and even made friends at the park. I could see her kinda take a sigh of relief knowing he was not totally un socialized! 
I really hope he settled in and is having fun. You never know...he might be. You are doing the best thing for him. Just remember that. If he is having a difficult time now, it might just take a few days. He will be fine and fit in soon. Give it time. Remember why you're trying this. I hope your dad continues on his upward swing.

Hey..I am very cool with 5 nights. I have gone b/f on it - as you all know, haha...but 5 will get me my fix and the girls and I will tear the place up and party nonstop. Then getting them to school Friday eases my mind a bit....espeicially considering Jo is home SICK AGAIN! She seemed better yesterday but her fever came back last night...so she's missed 2 days now..maybe more if I think back.
Our last WDW trip was too long. We were putzy and then had the most fun our last night there!!!
So a shorter trip is best for now.
Thats a good point about buying the AP at Guest SErvices. We have done both..thru the mail and at Guest SErvices. I have the DDE. I love it. Mine expired....I need to get a new one.
Anybody know if I can buy the DDE at INternational Gateway??? Don't get yourself all riled up K ) the scary guy for Jojo. She has always LOVED him!!! Crazy but true...I mean since like 2 yrs old or whenever that movie came out. I LOVE the music but the movie..eh...she loves it. Wouldn't that be cute?? Oh..and then she said maybe a Wall E and Eve outfit. Geesh.

......I really need to get some things done but I had to check in here first . . I'm so excited I can't wait for July to get here . Kristin......are you saying you don't have to buy the 1 day ticket for the DDP if you have an AP? I know I would need the 1 days for our July trip as I was going to wait to buy the APs when we get there in July so I wouldn't actually be an AP holder by the time the trip needs to be paid in full . Since I have 1 day tickets from last September, I think I can use those toward the purchase of APs, right ? . He'll probably come home with all kinds of neat and funny stories to tell you

And she is sassy for a 17yo child and it is perfect for me. She left thursday saying "When are you taking these bags to goodwill? Tomorrow?! Great." I didn't have time to answer...it was more of an order than a question....PERFECT! Sometimes I need to be told what to do next, and if it takes a 17yo child to make me get it done, then so be it.

The helper at home is going really well. This girl is amazing and not afraid to just jump right in and do what needs done. I should have had help years ago. Today is re-organize the linen closet. (She is not thrilled with my stuff and cram method of house keeping, and wants to re-do all closets and storage spaces.
Stress...much improved
Sorry Jo is still sick, I hope the rest of you can avoid it. The stupid start of school cold here has been evil, and is taking some kids 4-5 days out of school. GRRR!

I held it together to check out at the school office then called DH and broke down in the car. As soon as he answered I began blubbering and at some point just busted out and I said "I am so sad I had to go to Gainesville and we could not go to Disney!" I have been checking on the October room only special that I found a great rate several weeks ago at the ASMo for like $70, but looks like there are none avail at that rate. DH melted when he heard me blubbering, and I don't get to emotional these days. Karen wants us to use her timeshare but DH said staying at the ASMo would be fun for the kids, especially since DS LOVES Toy Story ( so do I!) and would get a kick out if seeing the huge BUZZ and all the army men that are on the top of the buildings, but I am hoping to stay at the timeshare. I don't want to spent $$$ on a room if we can get one for free. I am the accountant of the family and if it were left to DH would would be living in our car, that is why he has NO atm card and gets an allowance! He has no idea how tight if a ship I run and maximize every cent! There is no way I am touching our emergency fund with what is going on these days with the economy 
With the major cost of living increases we have had to cut back so I don't have to cut down our savings contribution. We found out last week our insurance is going up $45 a pay check in JAN! That is almost a 100 a month! I just think it is so important to not blow money if we don't have to and it makes it REALLY hard to stay over night since we are only 45 min from the parks, you know? We are very close to our pastor and he knows I have helped a few family's who came to me to ask how we did it on 1 income with 4 kids (including his son and DIL that we are BF's with) by going over some things I learned from a course I took several years ago. I helped them make the transition from 2 incomes to 1 so they moms could be SAHM's. NOW he wants me to teach the course I used the churchy answer of "i'll pray about it and get back to you" I want to help others but I would feel awkward teaching a class like that being so young. The good thing is is it is video based and I would lead the discussion time. Can you tell I am trying to keep ,y mind off of DS? 2 hours and 20 more min!
LOL! JK! I just re did my pantry last week and I was on such a high I had to do the hall linen and bathroom linen closets! I was up till like 2 am! I do have a trick for linen closets I fold my sheet sets and put the top and fitted sheets INSIDE the pillow case ( if you have two cases then put the extra in with the sheets). That way when it is time to make beds you got a whole set and you can just yank the case out and not dig for the matching sheets! HTH! 
) but by day 2 she'd made some new friends and went off with out a backward glance...

? I always thought you had to have an AP in hand (or atleast a certificate that you bought one) before booking an AP + DDP package or apply an AP code.....or can you book it that way and then just have to show proof of your AP when you check in ? I'm sure it's super easy to understand and do.....but I'm such a newb to these APs that it gets confusing sometimes . You've been a big help.......THANKS .
