Marvel: You really need to get an Xray or MRI done. My DF fell off of a horse once and popped the ends of his ribs out of place which resulted in severe back pain and difficulty breathing. I hope it isn't that. You could also see a chiropractor. They will xray first then work on you. I was sceptical before seeing mine, but now I am a believer. I shrunk an inch over time from training horses (vertebre (sp?) compression), but he gained it back and took most of my back pain away, and it was very severe. Don't be a hero, go to the doctor!

I have decided nothing. This morning I was kinda sleeping and watching GMA a bit and they were raving about the economy etc....hang onto your money...bleha blah yada yada....so now I am scared to spend money. I am getting to be such a nervous Nellie..... But the stock market is a mess...I don't know about the bonuses...ugh. This whole thing is freaking me out & making me feel insecure. Everything is good in my life so I need something to worry about. DH is like..."Get over it already. You know you're going"...

But..after hearing them rant and rave about the economy etc this morning I was set to just cancel the whole darn thing....take the SWA credit and move on.....then again.....why? Life is too short. The kids aren't getting any younger.

I have no idea what I am doing. This is the FIRST time I have thought about canceling a trip totally.....THAT has me weirded out. I was remembering how Disneyed out I felt in July.

Hello Hello!!!

Its been so long since I've had a chance to visit the threads. This is the first time in 7 years that my kids are going to seperate schools. By the time I drop everyone off and get my act to together, I feel like its time to pick them up. My DH has been crazy busy at work and really hasn't been around, comes in late, leaves early. Today...I am sitting in my PJ's sitting on the computer!!

I didn't really read much but I did see a few things

BSkies - YOU STILL DIDN'T POST PICTURES!!!! Come on now!!! If I could do it ANYONE could do it!!!!

Mandy - Praying for dad!!! I wish you strength to help him through!! On the lighter side.....You lucky girl, two days at WDW!!!! Have a great time!!!!

Channing - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Sorry I wasn't around for the official day!!!!

M&P - OK!!! I think its time to see a doctor!!!

Marvel...I felt like that when I was 38. I started on a downward spiral. But things picked up at 40! Now I just get weird things falling apart here and there....nothing that's been consistenly awful...(knock on wood). I think you better see a doctor. I know men aren't so good about that.....but listen to P and go....I am sure P has been telling you GO TO A DOCTOR.

LOL....I could have been on the Chat with ya, Marvel....I got up at 3 am..then at 4 am...then at 5:08 am.....I was totally afraid Lucy would niss her 6:10 bus. Well.....I overslept til the alarm went off at 6 am. She had another 8 minute day to get dressed and ready. Chan

That is how i feel... i see that big 4-0 coming up and feel like im falling apart. Now I look forward to everything picking up!

I can't even count how many 8 minute days we've had haha...everyone seems to be oversleeping here. the time change next month should help.


To everyone: You are right and i should go but Im only off sundays, can't get off work right now with the boss out of town and don't get out of work until after 6pm...the option left is the hospital and there is no way im going there ...i guess i could go to a "first med"...one of those small walk-in first aid places... i know all that sounds like an excuse and i guess it is

It is so nice to be "back" here.
Kelly...pm me with a time to chat and I will make sure to steal a computer from the boys and be there. I am kinda back...only at work unless I take the computer from the teen sons. LOL But they WILL share if I MAKE them.

Life here is nuts, but I am less stressed by it than before. I hired a student from the high school to be a mothers helper 4 afternoons a week. She is here for about 2 hours a day and does some light cleaning, lots of reorganizing and plays with the kids so I can grocery shop without "helpers." (You know that "helpers" add to the cost of grocery shopping...because of the "Mom, I want..." game.) Reading the last few pages it seems like a lot of you are having the same crazy busy back to school life that we are here

More later, doctor appointment this afternoon to talk about a tummy tuck!! YEAH!!!! Gott a run

Chan- LOL, 8 min mornings!!! Seriously, I have done 3 - 15 min mornings in the past 10 days. My best ever was a 6 min morning with the 3yo, 8yo and myself. NUTSO!

Kristin - I am psyched!! I hated leaving the 3rd one thinking that it was the last "Pirates" movie! I heard he's going to be the Riddler in the next Batman movie, too!

Go to a doc-in-a-box! At least they can give you something for the pain til you can see your real Dr!

I am not sure about that one being confirmed yet... he is going to be the Madd Hatter in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Tonto in Jerry Bruckheimer's The Lone Ranger.

Hey I don't have long but i wanted to update everyone. My dad is not doing to well. They have had a hard time stabilizing his BP and they discovered a massive blood clot in one lung and average sized one in the other. The doctors said he has never seen a clot like that in patient alive. They are shocked he is alive. HE has a team of cardiologist now and they are testing his heart because they think the lack of blood has damaged it. Things went bad up there about 3 and we finally found out about 5. My sister and I are heading up the gainsville again early in the morning. We want to be in his room to hear from the doctors. My mom tends to blow things out of proportion and my dad minimalizes things but we have a good friend that is finishing up med school and she was able to check his chart and email me to confirm the seriousness of his condition.

Our weekend is off, obviously. We were planning on staying at a friends timeshare with her points that she will loose in November and she is not going anywhere and loves us and wanted to give us a weekend if stress free family time. We are blessed with some AWSOME friends!

I am blessed to have a AWSOME hubby that can and will handle things so I can take off to be with my dad.
