Hey BlueSkies.....what a day . I JUST finished typing that stupid report so DS can turn it in tomorrow . I was sooo tempted to NOT do it, but I had already done so much research on it already that I thought all that time would be wasted.....atleast now he'll get a decent grade.....or SHOULD anyway....who knows with this lady . The meeting with the principal went well...he said he'd call me this afternoon but haven't heard from him.....he's really not one to not return calls, so I'm sure he'll call sometime tomorrow . But I will say he was NONE TOO PLEASED that she called me DURING class time AND that she took this out on my son....and DURING class at that....so I don't think it will be pretty when he talks to her . And rumor has it he doesn't like her too well....so that can't help . But this whole thing hasn't effected DS in the least.....he doesn't like the lady AT ALL and can't wait to get done with this class . He actually thought the whole ordeal yesterday was quite funny because all of his buddies were saying "Boy....your mom is really giving it to her!!!!!"......so he kinda had a good time with that . I know I shouldn't laugh but it's amazing how much of a psycho this woman is......and Kristin's posting of Capt. Jack REALLY mad me smile and made my day and made me realize things could be worse . And I see she has another one .


Kristin.......Keep 'em coming.......I can never get enough of those eyes !!!!! And YAY for Pirates 4 !!!!


Shell.......Hey....glad to see you back . I hear ya.....there are too many STUPID assignments that I've gotten used to doing some of these reports . Sometimes you just know when your kids aren't going to get anything out of them so you just complete them......it's all part of parenting, right . I'm just glad this one is completed and DS can turn it in tomorrow........now I get to wait and see what grade I get !!!!


Chan........This morning was WAY TOO EARLY for me.....I was up at 4:45 ....I had to get ready before getting everyone else up so I could head to the middle school right after I dropped DS off at high school. The principal isn't the easiest guy to get an appointment with, so I figured I'd show up at 7:30 and I was bound to catch him . Now I'm dragging because it's been a VERY LONG DAY . But I could have probably used a little pep talk . And we have a VERY BUSY weekend ahead of us.....so no rest for me .

I hope everyone had a good day today.....I will catch you all tomorrow as I'm wiped and heading to bed .

Deb....WTG!!! I hope the principal calls you back tomorrow...if not..you better call. It's Friday (YAY) but I wound want it resolved before the weekend. Ugh....4:45...insane. It is soooo darn dark!! I think that's why the alarm clock isn't even waking anybody up. I slept thru out 6 am one...DH got me up and said Lucy isn't up yet..the whole house was so dark. Sweet dreams.

OMG....do not get Kristin started..... I cannot stand that guy. He is a bit too feminine for me. Very unmasculine. I seriously don't get it. Really....ew. He's a pretty boy.

Morning All . DH went into work an hour early this morning so I'm up VERY early once again . DSs don't get up until just before 6:00, so with the little bit of time I have, I thought I'd check in .


Kristin........OMG.......I won't get anything done around the house today with HIM hangin' around . And the last one is hilarious........that's exactly what that woman needs . Thanks for the continuous pick me up.....post Jack pics anytime . (sorry Chan ).


Chan.....You don't like Capt. Jack ???? It's something about his eyes......all I can say is "WOW" . Sorry for getting Kristin started, but I have to say.....he's one GREAT LOOKING MAN !!!!

I hear ya about the darkness . It's so depressing but it's worse when the COLD temperatures come . NOT looking forward to that . I don't know how you get Lucy up and out the door in 8 minutes or less .....I'd be going crazy .......I'd almost consider just keeping them home that day .

Where is everybody this morning ????? I hope I won't be talking to myself today . Ok....I should be waking up at the Poly this morning but since I'm not .....I need all you experts to tell me more about how wonderful the GF is so I can forget about the Poly . If there's anything that's a MUST do at the Grand that I haven't been told already, please tell .


Kristin..........I have looked at those pictures about a million times already today............can't pull myself away . I probably won't get much cleaning done today because the pictures keep calling me .


Chan....did Lucy make it ok today or was it another wake up with 8 minutes to get out the door


Hope everyone has a great Friday . YAY for it being the weekend . It's beautiful and sunny here and it's supposed to be another 80 degree day . It'll be a great night for hs football .

Phew! Another week almost over. The school year is just geting started and I am ready to be out for the summer again. I agree that I am not excited about it being dark so early...and the worst is yet to come GRRR!!! I do not like winter, do not like cold and really do not like cleaning up snow and ice. Why do I live in Maine???? LOL
I think I need to move to Florida (Too bad hubby hates hot weather.)

I have to go pretend I am working. I just wanted to say HI!!!

Hey, all!! Morning! It's FRIDAY!!!

Deb, I hope you hear from the principal today. I cannot believe you were up so early!! I have to DDRAaaaaaaagggggg myself out of bed at 6 to check & see that all is going on schedule. And then I go back to sleep! I am not a morning person. Jojo is miserable. She has that croupy cough and a 101 fever. I think it's going around. She got in the car last night after soccer and said she felt terrible, but I thought she meant from practice. So....I am going to spend the day sitting on the sofa rubbing her feet.....good thing I have a laptop. I won't be lonely while she's in her TV trance. She can watch cartoons nonstop......Scooby and Spongebob live here in my house. I feel like they're step kids here.

Kristin...pahlease....post a manly pic. (of a MAN ) I just think Johnny boy is such a girlyman.

Did anybody even like Pirates #3? I thought it really stunk. I enjoyed ONE a LOT...number 2 was good, also....but #3 was garbage IMO.

Oh...I saw that about the Sox. I HOPE THEY KICK SOME BUTT NEXT GAME!!

Sheli!!!! I miss you! I am glad you hired the mother's helper & I Hope it works out. I think it's a great idea and will give you some relief you need. Thanks soooo much for the DVDs!!!!! What a surprise!!! LOL....I kept forgetting to get your address......I haven't watched them yet, htough....maybe this weekend or maybe I can talk Jo into watching those instead of Scooby. I mailed you the check last week....hope you got it. Maybe we can chat this weekend? GEt a kids computer!

I didn't care for the 3rd one either. I had to watch it twice to really understand what was going on (and then I didn't care for it!) Too much Elizabeth and not enough Jack.

Based on how they ended the 3rd one, with Jack and Barbossa each looking for the Fountain of Youth I think it has good potential. I think the spirit of the 1st movie will be back (plus neither Keira nor Orlando wish to re-join as of now)

As for the picture, I thought of you the moment I saw it!!

But I promise no more Johnny over here. Deb can join us crazy wenches and drool on our eye candy thread. (As can any other JD lovin' girl here )

Everybody asks me why I don't go back to bed after I get the clan out the door.....I guess once I'm up, I'll be shot the rest of the day if I get back in bed because I'd sleep until noon . By the time the boys get off to school I've already been up for 2 hours .....so I figure I might as well get something accomplished . Although it's usually alot of Dis-ing that gets done .


Better finish cleaning ....and I've got lots of to do ....sorry gals....just had to say it . OK....catch ya all a little later .

Too bad I can't reveal my true identity or i'd show you some manly pics, ladies.


The pain when breathing is gone this morning but the pain when i twist to my side is still there but I feel so much better than i did yesterday.

Its pouring here today so its going to be a slooooooowwww day at work..

I don't care too much for Johnny/Tim Burton movies. If someone wouldn't have told me that was Johnny under all that make up, I would have NEVER recognized him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I enjoyed Sweeny for the singing alone (what is up with all the dang white make up???)

The first JD movie I ever saw was Cry Baby and I loved it. I am also a huge fan of Blow, The Ninth Gate and Don Juan DeMarco. I am REALLY excited to see the Dillinger movie that comes out next year. So much of it was filmed here in Chicago, but alas *sigh* I was too tall to be cast as an extra...

BTW- great pics Wendy! It is one of my favs...
