LOL...Lucy bought a $99 Eeyore last time....I know what she'd put hers toward and then I would give mine to Jo and let her go crazy.

That is actually pretty nice. I feel bad I was a grump. I wonder how many of these $75 cards they'll actually give away?

Ya..the FPs are tempting for a summer trip. I don't think the beginning of June would be bad though. We had friends go the day after school got out and they were happy with the crowd levels. We were even pretty happy in July! I'd take the money.

OK...I wish my kids still liked the $5 stuff!!!! I remember those days. Jo used to have to get a new "cell phone" each trip (probably about $5 to $7.)....that cheapy little thing would pacify her for the whole trip! She'd call all her friends and the princesses......

Oh, BTW, that camera showed up today. I am SO glad it was only $30. There is no zoom on it. I am sure he will love it though.

I think that is a wonderful idea.

I will miss out on this. My birthday is in March, middle of spring break and peak season, DH's in the beginning of September, peak hurricaine season and possible free dining, not gonna happen, DS's in beginning of February, I could never go then, I wouldn't be able to come home. I hate winter.

Well for us we only have Season passes and I would LOVE to go to Magic Kingdoms on Christmas eve! Our passes block out the 21 til a few days in January. The thing is DH and DS birthdays are during the summer block for our passes so the 75 thing is a no go! WEll wait mabey it is! They can use it at World of Disney Store!

Just got home from soccer....to find this pissy person left me postivie yet negative feedback on Ebay. FIrst off...she bought a pair of $65 girls boots for $13. I clearly stated in my listing that the shipping would cost $10. They were leather cowgirl boots and heavy! Anyway....so she liked the boots but griped about the shipping in the feedback. I replied that the shipping was clearly stated in the listing...and she replied that I LEFT HER HATE MAIL because she complained and I AM NOT NICE. WHat a RAG!

So I cannot reply again. it's left where I sent hate mail and am not nice. So I filed an ebay complaint to get it removed. What a tool. There is one in every bunch. Sometimes I hate Ebay.

Good thing I DVRed the Dsiney show becuase I thought it was on at 8....

Oh..so sad..on the way to soccer these peeps were on the corner holding PEACE signs and 4751...the number of US troops killed in the war...then Hootie's "Hold My Hand" was on the radio and it totally choked me up. I hope they bring those kids home.

Well.....I am off to watch the Puerto Rican family talk how they love Disney EDITED to Add...BORING....I am thinking the new Disney show is a snore. Watching Costa Rica now.....snooze.

Morning Everyone . Nice and sunny today .....it's supposed to be 80 degrees .

I didn't catch the Disney show last night....that bad, huh . I did catch the last 5 minutes or so and I must say........those BLT rooms are . I did NOT care for those AT ALL . I thought the AKV ones were nice (what I quickly saw of them) but not the BLT .

Gotta run.....gotta take ds to school .

didnt see the shows last night either...had a HS meeting...about college...we're on #3..I think I could write a book...now for the application process...

I looked at the photos of BLT too but....I like them some of the decor like the draperies match the new rooms at CR, I think the art looks a little but it might be better in person...although modern decor is not my particular taste....I like what they did , I think the proportions look off in the pictures too...and ofcourse the views-just beautiful

Looking at the disney site...the whole celebration thing looks terrific, Kristin and Channing you gals are right on top of things registering already I'll be the one at the window registering at the last minute

I noticed they are promoting specialty cakes....

Hey, BlueSkies....yeah....I had a few minutes to kill before ds was ready to leave for school so I figured what the heck....let's see what's happening on the chat thread this morning .

I guess part of the reason I don't care for the BLT rooms is I really don't care for the CR itself . The CR just never appealed to me much . But that's one thing I love about Disney....there's soooo many choices that everyone can find a resort that suits their tastes . We love the WL and the Poly (which many can't stand the Poly ).....but I'm thinking that come July I'm gonna be a GF girl all the way . And I'm STILL toying with the idea of going in December . Disney's website was down this morning so I'm wondering if they're updating it with another special.....or taking the free dining promo to the public . But what I really hate is DH is NO HELP WHATSOEVER . Whatever I do he's fine with....which is good to a point (especially when it comes to Disney trips )....but not when I could really use another opinion .



Chan....did you ever decide about your Oct trip .

Morning

I am so glad it is Friday! It is my favorite day of the week, I am so productive because I want to have my Saturdays free!

OK a few things, My dad is home! He is still on the mend. HE wanted to come home, he was tired of the hotel. Some friends who live between here and there offered to drive him home when they heard I was planning on driving up Sat morning. HE still has a long way to go and they doctors decided to continue home on the IV therapy he has been having. He has Chrohns so severely they fear it might re attack the small intestines. It was sweet, they made a detour to stop by my house so he could see my kids, and they all went out to the car and he got teary eyed when he saw them and then of course I go teary eyed.

I am still trying to work this new celebration thing to my advantage and am thinking of a way to use it make my kids birthdays fun!

OK talk to you later I have a ton of phone calls to make!

The CR can't be beat as far as location.....walking to MK has to be great . Maybe one of these days we'll take the plunge .

We tried the Poly last September when we went for free dining....now I wish we would have gone all the way and did the GF . But the Poly was very nice and we had a great time .

I'm with you....lots to do around here so I better get going . I have to be at the middle school at 1:45 to help with an after school dance (they call it a dance but it's really just a time for the kids to hang out for 2 hours ....I guess they don't know what else to call it ). Then home and off to our weekly football game . Have a good day gals .

October trip? LOL....I lie in bed thinking NO...We just cannot do it ...and then get up in the morning and think SCR** IT...We are going!



And then across the table from me is Jojo in her Minnie Mouse pirate skirt/tank top outfit! I JUST SAID to her....Aw...you look so cute, it makes me want to go back!

Mandy, that is so wonderful about your dad! Your post made me teary. (everhting is lately, lol.....I heard that song "Do you REalize" TWICE yesterday and got all lumpy throated then, too! hormones are wicked)That is sweet he stopped to see his grandkids.

We LOVE the CR. I just HATE that stupid new tower. Besides being ugly and an eyesore on the outside those rooms are gag me ugly. They ARE Brady Bunch or Austin Powers almost.

It's a shame that new Disney show was such a bust. I wonder what other peeps are saying about it on the DIS. It didn't encourage us to even peek at DVC. Dh didn't get the "Best kept secret" thing ......when they were in San Francisco he was like..."Is there something Disney in SF?" I thought they were at the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin.

Well...have to get DD on the bus!
