Me too! Though I had forgotten all about it until you said something . Gives me something to look forward to during this dreadfully boring day...

ETA: I just followed that link to look at the still pics of BLT: BLECH!!!!! I disliked them before in the video, and I still think they are just yuck. What were they thinking? The CR looks REALLY nice after the lastest refurb, but for my own tastes I don't like the BLT rooms AT ALL!

I agree! I LOVE the CR rooms, I think they are very gorgeous and I like modern decor a lot!

The BLT rooms are very retro modern. It is cute but kinda reminds me of a NY Loft of a designer, it appeals to a much narrower group of people. Another problem is this is going to be out of style sooner than later and then they will look very dated. I don't understand why they could not carry the room decor from the CR to the BLT? IDK, I think they missed the mark, the only thing that is appealing is the location AND it is the only DVC property on the monorail line.

The only thing that could be worse is the purple and teal Jetson's look the previous CR had!

Hey, Gals . Back from the library....I was able to get lots of references....not sure how they'll work ....but atleast it's something to work with . Now...on to more Dis-ing .


Chan ~ He really isn't coming home with alot of homework.....my 8th grade ds has more than hs ds . Of course hs ds does have a study hall 7th hour....so he CLAIMS he's getting all his work done then (which he should be ). After calling Disney this morning and the CM telling me it's only free dining and no room discount, I kind of forgot about it....but I may still call back because alot of CMs don't give the correct information . But I kind of feel how you do about your Oct. trip......on one hand I REALLY want to go...then on the other hand I keep telling myself it won't be bad staying home as it would be nice not having the make up work at school......and Christmas time is always busy anyway . Also....July will be here before we know it....I don't know.....can't really figure out why I'm at a loss because that NEVER happens when it comes to a Disney trip .


BlueSkies ~ Mousesavers is actually the place I saw the info about the 20% room discount.....and I think they're pretty reliable as well . As soon as that CM told me "no...just free dining".....I suddenly thought..."ok....too many CMs give the wrong info....is this for real or what???". So now I'm second guessing that . Not sure if I'll call back today or not but I will definitely call back sometime just to double check . I totally agree with you....if it's meant to be....it will all fall into place . For some reason I can't get into calling back right now.....all I can think about is this stupid Biology project for ds and the next assignment that's due tomorrow .


Vanessa ~ WAY TO GO.......That is AWESOME !!! I think I will call back....it can't hurt . I still can't believe the deal Disney is running . But it's only for that one week before Christmas.....could the resorts not be filled and everybody is going before then or waiting until Christmas week to go . I can't really figure it out . When is it you're going....are you to be there over Christmas???

I also make all the decisions. Most of the time it is good, but I would like an opinion once in a while also, as long as it agrees with mine. What is it about men that they can't make a decision? I do all the vacation planning, packing, etc. DH just has to show up and drive to the airport.

School is back in session It was nice to get back into the routine of bus stop, exercise, shower, errands etc.

V- WTG on that discount!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!

I am also digging the Celebrate Today thing next year. We will be there on DS's actual bday, and mine as well. We don't need the theme park tix but I will take the merchandise card!!! Oh wonderful TA of mine, what do I need to do to get in on this action?

Just in case anyone else is interested.....I found out a little tid bit about the Disney Visa promo. I just pulled up mousesavers.com and it now states (I didn't see it before ) that the room discount in addition to free dining does not apply to value season . That's exactly what I was pricing (12/14-12/19).....that the discount is only good on regular and holiday season . Oh well....it was worth a try .

OK guys...I have to catch up later. I got back from the dentist, choked down some lunch and caught up here, checked SWA and now I need to clean up FAST!! I still have bfast mess out. I had to put away groceries and soon I have to pick up kids!!!! and then late soccer....ugh.

But....how's this? If I shift my flight Wed to Wed it's $83 each way! I get a $300 credit.....but DH would have to take time off to take us....so I am kinda eh on that. Or we;d limo it and I hate the limo services we have out here....well not hate..but we almost missed our flight last March when they took a wrong turn!!!! I think they thought they were bringing us to Ohare......omg...it was TENSE.

Chan, our limo company is AWESOME (although we haven't done Midway yet) But they are always 15 minutes early (even if it is a 3:30 am pick up ), pleasant, clean cars etc. I can give you the name if you want.

I would change the dates if the GF can make the accomodation

The way I read it you don't have to sign up to receive the free tix anad merchandise ect.... it just be able to prove it is your BDAY using id or whatever! Mabey I mis read something? HOw do you prove a kids birthday?
