a glow necklace or bracelet from another kid in the parks?
We buy these things in bulk every trip and it is one of my kids favorite things to do on their disney vacation (pass them out at night). Just wondering if any June/July 2005 receivers are out here on the dis?

THat's a nice idea, where do you buy them in bulk? I purchased enough for our own kids from Dollartree for our Oct 05 trip and it was a highlight for the kids, not to mention a budget saver too!

We've never received them, but we've given them away. We also buy them in bulk on ebay (just type in glow sticks or bracelets) and then bring them with us. When we were there (DLR that is, not WDW) last Oct. we gave away quite a few. They were selling them at DLR too for (I think) $5 a necklace before Fantasmic. No one said anything to us about giving some away though.

We buy them in bulk & pass them out. DS LOVES his glow sticks & really enjoys giving them away.

Last trip, one of the nights there was a horrible storm. Thunder, Lightning, the whole bit. Kids were crying. We gave them glow sticks. They stopped crying. Parents were very happy!

We did this on our trip in Aug 05 (20th-28th POR AB) I bought a huge box of stuff off of the internet light up wands ,crowns , swords and glow necklaces and bracelets. We had 8 children with us and it was really fun to give out all the extras each night since the bus drivers would turn all the lights out and some of the kids were a little bit scared of the complete darkness. Only a few people looked at us a little strange but we always asked the parents permission . I think all of the adults in our group had alot of fun handing out glowsticks (we of course were the ones who got to crack htem and activate them). we even had these plastic things that you hooked 8 of the bracelets up to to make glow spheres it was really cool.

I had a few packs of 6 of the bracelets there just the other night. We were in line waiting for Turtle talk and I broke them out. My girls started handing out to the kids around us, had a great time.. I think they enjoyed handing them out more then wearing them! I will definately start doing this every time we go...

DD got 1 in Dl in June wearing her new white TINK hoodie it broke She was crying and glowing the entire way back to the hotel.

I couldn't stop laughing as I always tell her not to bend them.
