We haven't been in seven years--it looks like a lot has changed! Really looking forward to getting back.

Are kids actually able to go into the space shuttle? It says interactive experience on the website, but I can't tell if you are actually able to board the shuttle. From the pics its looks like it is suspended in the air?


Is there enough here to hold the interest of two boys who will be almost 5 and 7 years old?

FYI- If you have enough time to plan, contact your congressperson for complimentary passes. We went in April, 2013 and were "guests of NASA" and received complimentary parking and passes for the day.

Of note, I contacted my Senator through the page on his website for requesting help with a trip to Washington DC. When his staffer initially contacted me, he told me DC was the only place they could help. I told him he was mistaken and asked him to check into it. He did, and was pleasantly surprised that I was right.
