Have you used Pinocchio's Workshop?

We are taking our kids with us in Sept for our 10th anniversary. We would like to do one dinner out to celebrate out anniversary just DH and me. We have never used a "babysitting service" or anything like it. Did your kids like Pinocchio's Workshop? Do you prefer a personal babysitting service? Was there anything you didn't like about it? Anything we should know before we book? Thanks!

Children have to be 5-years old, no exceptions, so we couldn't use them last time. With 4 children, it was actually cheaper for us to go with a sitter, even with a 4-hour minimum.
We used Around the Clock Sitters and were pleased with the service. The sitter fed them dinner in our room, got them ready for bed and came prepared with art projects and coloring. The children were asleep in their "own" beds at a decent hour, which I don't think would be the case at Pinocchio’s.
So we're using them again this trip for our date night at Napa Rose Chef's counter.

Our friends use PW several times a year. The kids love it so much that they can't wait to be dropped off and cry when it's time to leave. So far, I've heard high praise for the CMs who work there.

My youngest loved PW; went there when she was 6 and 8, I think. We've also used Fullerton Childcare in the past because the kids wanted to go to the pool while we were gone. They were older, maybe 12 and 9, by then. Had good experiences with both. The kids weren't crazy about the Fullerton sitter because she was older and they were more used to teenagers sitting for them at home, but other than that, there were no problems.
