Have you used one of the "questionable Alamo codes" lately without a problem?

I have one and I'm booking a backup. We have Quick silver so I think we just get our car and go to the exit booth? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm wondering though if EVERYONE is being denied their questionable codes because in that case I may end up going with a different company all together since my backup with Alamo would not be the cheapest rate I can get, but maybe it's worth it if my questionable code might slip by. I know people are posting when there code gets denied but has anyone not had their code denied?:confused3

I wouldn't trust a backup with the same company, or even a partner agency. You don't really have any recourse if they cancel the reservation with the higher rate (duplicate reservation) and request you document eligibility for whatever discount program you claimed you're eligible to use. You're not typing random numbers. You're saying you're an employee of a specific TA for one popular code. I wouldn't think of asking for a AAA discount if I wasn't a member and I wouldn't think of asking for an employee discount if I wasn't employed by that TA.

Different people are using different codes. Some people may be getting away with it but others aren't.

You can give it a shot but I'd make sure my backup reservation was with a different agency, without a "no show" penalty.
