Anyone ever stayed in a GV in OKW bldg 63? I am going to The World in January with my inlaws and am thinking of requesting that building. They have limited mobility so the elevators will be crucial. However, their limited mobility is not to the degree that I need HA. We will be renting scooters for their stay so that they can enjoy their time and not be so tired and sore. I see that 63 is right at the entrance. Is it noisy? Does the GV look out on the 7th green or the parking lot? Is their water around that green?

Am I asking too many questions?

We stayed one night in the GV in building 63. We did hear the buses some, but not so much that it kept us awake. The GV overlooks the golf green and the canal running around the green. I thought it was a beautiful view, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

HH area is now a separate boking category at OKW, just like BW views at BWV. The HH category buildings do not include the 60's buildings, so if you want bldg 63, do not book an HH category room. Will you have your own car? If so, the best thing, IMO, is to not concentrate so much on location, but be sure to request elevator buildings or ground floor access. The 60's buildings don't have the best parking.

i will have my own car...i would really like a golf course view first and then be close to HH second..beggars cant be choosers

Not sure, but I KNOW one of the GVs in 63 is HA, but I have heard the other one is also. If you get the HA accessible one, the only HA part of it will be the master bedroom portion. THe second and third bedrooms are on the second floor, and will NOT have elevator access, so even with a GV in an elevator building, the only way you can do it without any stairs it to let the low mobility folks stay in the master suite.
