Have you seen the new drinks at France in Epcot?

Well, they're not REALLY new, they actually came out at the end of last summer. Most people talk about the margaritas when they talk about drinks at Epcot. However, France has put up some stiff competition, these drinks on a hot day (or even a cool one) are quite simply, really really really good.

Grand Marnier Orange Slushies are the two orange drinks in the back, and Grey Goose Citron Vodka Slushies is the white drink in the foreground.

The Grand Marnier Orange Slushie tastes almost like an orange popsicle, it's like ice cream it's that good. The Grey Goose Citron Vodka slushies is like a frozen lemonade with a bit more of a kick to it ;)

We are big margarita fans, and always have one when we go to Epcot. However, we might have to start making a trip to France for these more often, they are incredible. At least, until we get back to our second home, the Rose and Crown...lol ;)

P.S. They sell these at one of the drink stands that are in France, on your right hand side if you're coming from Morocco/Japan/Germany. I believe it's the second stand, perhaps the one that sells champagne. I think it was $5.50 a drink if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm definitely going to take a right when I come to the bridge from the IG now!

YUMMMY! Can't wait to try those. We are bringing my mom on our next trip... so we can say "BABYSITTER!!!!" We are planning an adult tour around the world next time! I want these....

Oooohh, they both look delicious! I'm quickly compliling a list of drinks to try in EPCOT!

Thanks Colson39!! Those look VERY refreshing, DH & I will be sure to also stop by when we're heading through the World!

Thanks! They actually are our engagement pictures, they were taken at the beach at almost 7 AM in the morning (it was hard trying to look good that early...lol). We were married last January 20th, I'm glad you like the pictures!

Fiest Margarita is hands down my favorite as well, although I seem to be the only person that gets the Fiesta every time we go, everyone else normally just gets a single flavor (boring!!! ;) ). And I always get salt with mine, margarita is supposed to have salt, not sugar! But hey, to each their own...lol.

I first tried these out last November (which is when these pictures are from). I have heard very little talk about them, even though I saw them when we were there a few weeks ago. Just wanted to make sure people don't miss out on this "hidden" Epcot specialty!

These are AWESOME! I had the Grand Marnier and they were $7 at the F&WF. I was so sad last time when we got there too late and I didn't get one:sad2: I'm counting days until our trip so I can have another one, it was soooooo good!

Those look amazing! Yummo! That would be a nice break from the heat we'll be in when we're there in June!

Thanks for posting!

PS- I'm another who loves the pictures in your siggie!

I always make sure to get both when I'm at WS. However, when I went last August, they were served in larger cups. When I went back in December they came in those tiny fancy glasses.

My DGF ordered a Double Grey Goose screwdrive from Rose & Crown and it was way to strong for her so she dumped the Grand Marnier slushee in it and fixed it :thumbsup2

I think the Grey Goose slushee is better.

YUM! those look great - just added them to my list!
thanks

OH MY GOSH!!!!

Thank you sooooooooo much for posting this!!!! I shall toast you when I partake of these amazing libations! :drinking1

I want one now!!!

Dave

We love margarita's but are very picky, we have our favorite restaurant in Houston that we get our from. We haven't tried the fiesta margarita, what is it? Which one will I try, so many yummy decisions!

They look delish!!!!! If they taste as good as they look, I'll walk right by the Frozen Margarita stand!!:thumbsup2

The Fiesta margarita is a combination of a mango, pina colada, and the other flavor they have there. Basically, instead of having a single flavor margarita, it's about 3 or 4 levels of varying tastes, and is EXTREMELY good. It's just nice to get a different taste every other sip!

oh yummy, that's three drinks I need to try now :) Thanks for sharing! Love your sunrise pictures too!

I had the Grey Goose one last year at the Food and Wine Festival. Good to know they weren't exculsive to that event. They were pretty refreshing. My only complaint about them was those glasses don't fit into the cup holders on strollers...

Yea, we had them at the Food and Wine Festival, and then had them a few weeks later (around the end of November).

As far as I know they don't plan on making it any kind of special event drink, I just think they need to kind of make it a little bit more noticeable (unless you actually stop at that specific stand, you would never notice them). And the only reason to stop at that stand is if you wanted champage.

I'm the type who really doesn't want to taste the alcohol in my alcoholic beverages. Loved the Grand Marnier slushie when I had one last Sept! A Mango Margarita still tops my list, but it's nice to have another delicious choice!
