Have you seen the new drinks at France in Epcot?

Okay-this solves the problem of which direction to start going when entering through IG! I always force my group to head to the left so I can hit the margarita stand. Now either direction will be just fine!!!:cool1: :woohoo:

I love the Grand Marnier one!! It really does taste like a creamsicle. The SO gets the lemon one.

Its a hard choice, because Im a Champagne drinker, and when I get to France I want BOTH:rotfl2:

All of a sudden, DH became VERY excited about our trip this August.......:cool2:

I will do my best Veruca Salt imitation.

I WAAAAANNNT one NOOOOW!

They became my new FAV drink on our last trip! They taste so good and refreshing on a warm day!!!!

Such a short walk from the Boardwalk Too!!!!!! <G>

The walk between Mexico and France is just about right you finish that Feista Margarita and its time for the slushies in France. :thumbsup2

I saw those at the F&W Fest las year, but I had already had my limit of wine tastings. That's the first place I'm heading to at Epcot on arrival day. Then to the new Tea Stand in China for the Green Tea Plum Wine Slushie.

My thoughts exactly! LOL. SO which one of these two "new" drinks is better?

Well, I got the Vodka slushy, and the wife and my mom got the Grand Marnier orange slushy. Of course, I tried their drinks as well! ;)

It kind of depends on your mood, because honestly, they're both really good. The Vodka slushy is a little bit drier and has more of a sharp/sour taste to it, because of the lemonade slushy part of it. So it actually might leave you wanting more, kind of like a normal lemondade does.

The Grand Marnier orange slushy is more of a "filling" drink, since you almost feel like you're having ice cream. It also has a sweeter taste, and won't leave you as "thirsty" as the Vodka slushy.

Personally, on a hot day, I would prefer the Vodka slushy, simply because it's almost like having an iced lemonade, and keeps you more cool and refreshed then I would say the Grand Marnier orange slushy does. On days that aren't so hot, or are more windy, I might go with the Grand Marnier orange slushy, because it's more or a "relaxing" and "omg I'm full but it was so good" kind of drink.

Well, they're not REALLY new, they actually came out at the end of last summer. Most people talk about the margaritas when they talk about drinks at Epcot. However, France has put up some stiff competition, these drinks on a hot day (or even a cool one) are quite simply, really really really good.

Grand Marnier Orange Slushies are the two orange drinks in the back, and Grey Goose Citron Vodka Slushies is the white drink in the foreground.

The Grand Marnier Orange Slushie tastes almost like an orange popsicle, it's like ice cream it's that good. The Grey Goose Citron Vodka slushies is like a frozen lemonade with a bit more of a kick to it ;)

We are big margarita fans, and always have one when we go to Epcot. However, we might have to start making a trip to France for these more often, they are incredible. At least, until we get back to our second home, the Rose and Crown...lol ;)

P.S. They sell these at one of the drink stands that are in France, on your right hand side if you're coming from Morocco/Japan/Germany. I believe it's the second stand, perhaps the one that sells champagne. I think it was $5.50 a drink if I remember correctly.

We saw your message about the "new" drinks the day before we drove to Walt Disney World. Talk about timing! We were psyched! Of course, on our first day at EPCOT (3/26/07) we stopped at France and tried both of them! The Grand Marnier Orange Slush was my favorite, a real refreshing gem of a drink. Price: $7. Thanks for the recommendations!
