Have you read books by Joy Fielding?

I've read several of her books and when I saw her latest at the library I immediately picked it up. Yesterday I finished reading it, "Whispers & Lies". I thought for sure I'd have nightmares!!! I love mysteries but this one freaked me out with the ending!!!

I don't know much about her. Does she write mysteries?

Yeah, she writes mysteries. Another one of hers that was really good is called "See Jane Run."

I will have to check these books out. My mother loves mysteries and she's read so many, they are running out of books at the library that she hasn't read.

That's all she has been able to do since her illness. Actually, she doesn't read, I get her the recorded books and she listens. I will look for a book by Joy Fielding for her. Thanks for posting this, Liz.

Our family loves her books and we pass them around between me, my Mom, sister, niece, and our cousin and her two teenage daughters.

Was that the book with the mother & daughter and the cottage in the back yard? If so, then that book just creeped me out and it bothered me for DAYS!

Jill, yes that's the one! After reading that I think I need to take G-gang's suggestion and read something funny to get it out of my mind!!!

I have read Grand Avenue, and I liked the first three quarters of the book, but I didn't like a lot of the twists and turns that it took (I won't say what I didn't like or give details because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else). I think it would have been a much better book if she just kept it about the relationship of the four women in the book.
