Have you put ME luggage tags on boxes??

I want to check a box as luggage - has anyone done this using Magic Express? I just received my bright yellow ME luggage tags yesterday! WHOOHOOO They are the sticky kind that attach around a luggage handle. If I put it on a box, I would just stick it on like a big label. I'm assuming as long as the airlines take it as checked luggage, then I should be ok, right?

I have not used ME but on my last trip I saw a box on the luggage carousel with a ME tag on it at MCO.
