Okay, so I am actually going to DLP next week - planned super last minute, but I am excited. I got a hotel that is nearby Disney property - about 12 minutes by car. Is it pretty easy to get a rideshare over to the parks? I have Uber and loaded G7 Cab too. Is one better than the other? Is there a better option? Thanks.

How exciting! Can you make a list comparing attractions at DLP to DLR? I'm teasing you! Hope you have a great time!

Now bear in mind that I haven’t actually done this myself, I’m relying on reports from others, but I understand that Uber is a pretty solid option for getting to DLP. If you leave at park close with everyone else there might be delays in getting one back but that’s true everywhere I guess.

The only advice I’ve seen is to get the driver to drop you off at the entrance near Five Guys rather than the main gate, as the security check near there typically has shorter queues.

Thanks - that's awesome!

I know there is a train too, but our hotel isn't that close to the stop.

Question, should I go all the way to Paris and eat at Five Guys? Of course not - I'll eat at Earl of Sandwich instead! 😁

Well it's a better burger than the hockey pucks served in the park (or they were the last time I had one)!

I wonder why it's not Cinq Garçons?

Yeah, I hear the burgers and such aren't too good. We are going to eat at Agrabah Cafe which seems good. I need to explore the other QS items for snacks and such.

There are some good dishes out there, it's just I've never had a good burger at DLP, which is surprising because when I did self-catering off-site a few times, I got some really good burgers (or I should say steak-hache!) from the Auchan supermarket.

Personal counter service favourites for me are the smoked chicken platter at Cowboy Cookout, the fish and chips at Toad Hall and the butter chicken curry at Colonel Hathi's.

Ooh - I love Butter Chicken. I though Colonel Hathi's was a "Pizza Outpost" and didn't really look at it. How's the pretzel hot dog thing at Chalet de la Marionette? That looks pretty good to me.

Colonel Hathi still does pizzas but has branched out into Indian foods as well, I guess so that the menu isn’t the same as Pizzeria Bella Notte.

I’m not a hot dog fan myself so can’t comment, but DW likes the cheddar bacon dog at Casey’s Corner.

Still at the end of the day our preference is to have a big breakfast, snack at lunch, then load up at a buffet restaurant in the evening.

When we visited WDW, I watched Ear Scouts & Mammoth Club. Since I know their styles and tastes, I watched their DLP Paris videos. Mammoth Club ate and Colonel Hathi's and has video of the pizza and butter chicken. I noted that they also liked Market House Deli and Kiri Bakery on Main Street. Here is the spot where they review Colonel Hathi's, here is Market House Deli, and here is Kiri Bakery.

Awesome - I will check those out!
