Have you purchased Park Hoppers from Paramount?

I'm really nervous about purchasing park hoppers from someone "other" than Disney, CAA, etc. that I *know* are reputable. Paramount is a great deal, but I have specific concerns. I'd appreciate hearing anyone's experience with regards to: receiving the tickets (is this unknown cyberspace company REALLY going to send me tickets?), and also that the tickets were what Paramount said they were (they LOOK like Disney tickets, but am I going to get to the park and there are only 2 days left on a 7 day hopper, or worse, it's a forgery?). I know, I probably sound paranoid :crazy: , but it's ALOT of money! Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm specifically asking about Paramount because, including shipping, we'll save $12 over the next cheapest wholesaler, PLUS I understand that Paramount also gives a character meal voucher with each 7 day. Thanks again! :wave:

I purchased 9 7-day park hopper plus passes (children and adult) from paramount a month or so ago. We leave in 2 days so I can't yet tell you that I have used them successfully, but....

The package I received was extremely professional. All passes were packaged separately, and the breakfast vouchers were all there. Also included was a photocopy of the backs of all of the passes, and the serial numbers of all of the vouchers.

I have a Parkhopper from a couple of years ago and I compared the codes on the back of each. The coding on the back appears to be authentic Disney (ie, the place where the ticket was printed, the register #, the date etc) and did follow the same format as my other ticket, as well as the formatting I have read about. The tickets were in pristine condition which means they could not have been used. Also, I paid with Amex and if they are fraudulent, I can dispute the charge with Amex.

Given what has been written about paramount (ie, the only problem I read was from someone who had their tickets, along with the copies of the tickets, stolen), and given what I have observed, I have no doubt the tickets I bought will be 100% authentic. The tickets are a good value without the breakfast vouchers. With the vouchers, no one can compare.

We purchased from and used the PHPs from Paramount this summer. Everything worked like a charm. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone.

We have purchaces from them twice. We are very satisfied with Paramount and will defiantly use them again.
 

breakfast vouchers? do you get those with all of the orders, or just 7day PHP's?

I believe it is only with the 7 day passes.

Got and used 7 day PHP passes from Paramount. Whe we went to go through the entrance they didn't work - No problem -the CM sent us into the guest relations office and they said - oh they must have gotten demagnetized depending on where you had them - maybe in a camera bag etc. She then typed in some numbers and gave us passes that worked great. I would not hesitate to use Paramount again. The fact that Rosa took the time to send a copy of the back of the passes and the breakfast vouchers so we had the serial numbers, so Disney would replace them if by chance we lost them , was the added service that would make me buy from them again. Just like travelers checks be sure to keep the paper and the tickets in separate places. Now I need to make copies of the new tickets so I will have them when we go back to use those last 4 days in December. I have had to have tickets replaced and it is no problem if you have the receipt if you buy from Disney or a copy of the backs of the tickets.

Very happy with Paramount. When you submit your order online, you will receive an email confirmation - you must sign the confirmation and fax it in for processing of your credit card (may have to photocopy the card too-can't remember). I'm sure this is just their method of protection from someone using a CC that is not theirs to purchase.

I was very worried when I did order - I even ordered close enough that I could dispute the CC charge if there was a problem - but they worked fantastically. I even demagnetized them 2 or 3 times when we were there (I thought I was going nuts - turns out my daughter had those blinky earrings that are magnetic and I didn't know they were in the bottom of the change pocket!!!!!).
 
Are these the same tickets that you buy from Guest Services at Disney World? That seems like a pretty significant savings. Is it too good to be true?
 
Bought 4 7-day PHP from Paramount. Came in the mail super fast with breakfast vouchers and a photocopy of the back of the tickets as someone mentioned prevoiusly. Qiute convenient - one less thing for me to do before leaving on trip.

Used all 4 PHP tickets earlier this month with nary a problem. Am keeping the breakfast vouchers to use on our next trip in January.

Highly recommend them and will not hestitate to buy from them again.
 
I just returned from our trip. We had purchased 9 7-day PHP passes from Paramount before our trip (6 adult, 3 child) and no one had any problem. In fact, toward the end of the trip, my SIL's ticket became de-magnetized. She went to the guest relations window and was issued a new ticket with no problem.

The vouchers worked as we have all heard as well. Gratuity was included.

I would not hesitate to recommend Paramount and to use them again.
 
We bought two 7 day PHP's in May. We actually picked them up at Paramount since we know the Orlando area well, it saved us $15 and we had an hr to waste while waiting for our friends train to come in. Met Rosa. She was great! She went over everything in the packet, including pointing out where the breakfast voucher was good at (as a seasonal full service food and bev worker at wdw I really appreciated that! You'd be surprised how many times we've had to disappoint people and tell them we did not accept their voucher!) I was very happy with Paramount. Great prices and great service!

Glad to hear you had a positive experience with Paramount! Would you mind giving some details on where they are located? Did you find them at 4407 Vineland Rd. (Orlando) or did you find them at their previous location (heard they moved a while back)? I understand there are several Vineland streets in the area and some people have had trouble finding their offices. Thanks so much for any info you can provide!
 
They are still at 4407 Vineland(Oct 2003). I can't tell you exactly how we got there- maybe you could do a map on Yahoo. It seems like it was the Vineland closer to Universal. We had a very hard time finding it because we were looking at the wrong Vineland. It is in an industrial park.
Keep in mind that they are only open weekdays.
 
Thanks for the info, sln88! Based on what you mentioned, I think I've found the right Vineland and the right spot on the map. We're still mulling over which tickets to purchase, and if we do go with Paramount, whether to have them shipped or save the $15 and pick them up. May not be worth the hassle to do the latter, but it would be nice to know where the office is located should any problems arise.

That $15 shipping charge would have been well worth not having to drive around Orlando for 4 hours(part of that was due to a slightly stubborn husband)! I was in tears and felt I had ruined our whole vacation.
 
Wow...bummer about your frustration and wasted time. I also understand about having a stubborn DH! And I would've been in tears too...I hope your trip was wonderful after this ordeal!

I can't decide between the Fun In the Sun passes or regular 7-day PHPs. I really want the FITS but when I emailed Disney Guest Services Online about using it even if we are not from overseas I was told they are "not familiar" with the pass...I know other DISers have used this pass successfully, but it would be JUST OUR LUCK to have Disney refuse them at the gate. Anyway, I basically trust Paramount, but I'm worried about Disney's own confused policies. I guess we could call and ask Rosa what Paramount would do under those circumstances.
