Have you opened your Halloween candy yet?

Nope. But only because I haven't bought any yet!

I probably won't buy much. The only trick-or-treaters we get anymore are two of our grandchildren that live a quarter mile down the road (ages 5 and 1-1/2) so I just don't bother with buying lots of candy anymore. I used to make up quart-size baggies full of different candy for the kids who came here. The houses out here are so few and far between I always wanted to "make it worth their while." But the neighborhood kids have all grown up now so if I buy a lot of candy it's just us that eats it, and we don't need it! I'll make up special bags with candy, toys, etc. for the grands and then have a package of full-size candy bars "just in case."

Candy was purchased and opened today DH has already eaten a bunch of the kit kats. I keep telling him to stop! I bought stuff that I didn't like so that I don't eat it!

We haven't bought any yet, but if we had and it was something I really liked, I probably would have opened it. I have to buy it closer to Halloween.

Nooooo, no no no! I don't even buy the candy until about 4 days before Halloween. Candy is a red light food for me. Unless I buy something yucky like Three Musketeers or those nasty malted milk balls. But God help me if I have Reese's peanut butter cups or Smarties in the house! Can't...resist...must...be strong...
