....it's cancelled - but I'm still going and we're gonna have a great time but there's so much more preparation to do now !!!

I've been crying most of the morning but I guess unofficial is just as good and I get money back.....I'm trying to see the bright side

I just read the thread again Sam about the re-scheduling and wondered if you've booked for the Saturday Night Dinner Show?? This sounds absolutely brilliant and at such a great price! Makes me want to be there even more now!

I'm definately doing the Illuminations Dessert Party - well it's been paid for anyway but besides that it is s'posed to be THE event of DISCon so I'm so pleased they kept this.

Not sure about the Mystery Dinner night, there are now so many options to weigh up.

I've got to completely re-do my spreadsheet and all the planning and it's gonna have a knock on effect on my New year trip (as I don't wanna do the same restaurants if at all possible)

I'm very very busy at the moment and still incredibly excited

Well, I was a little sad about this when I first heard, but I've recovered from the shock now I think.

Come on guys! It's not cancelled at all - just had it's wings clipped a little. The Illuminations Party was always the highlight so I'm <i>very</i> glad that's still on. And the dinner has changed location is all. Sam - you gotta do the Dinner show. I went to one once up on Sandlake Road...I was virtually dragged to it because I really didn't thing it would be my thing at all - but it was really good fun! Ok, ok, maybe it helped that I guessed the murderer correctly too

Sam (and Penny) ,sorry I missed this last weekend with all the partyin and drinkin they made me do. Sure, it's sad DisCon ain't all yer hoped it was gonna be but, it seems to me, the folk that were goin are still goin so it's still on in that way.
