48 hours after 2nd Moderna and I’m pretty much back to normal. I had a rough day yesterday with the side effects, but so worth it. I’m feeling immense gratitude for being fully vaccinated.

Here's a brief update on Florida vaccinations:

"At least 2,973,782 people have been vaccinated in Florida, with 1,642,800 people in the state getting both shots that are needed. Miami-Dade has had 311,638 people vaccinated, Broward has had 252,390 and Monroe 11,314, according to the latest numbers posted by the state. "

For reference, Florida's population is about 21.5 million, so about 13.8% of the population has had their first shot, and 7.6% have had both shots.

We have a long way to go, but we'll get there.

I received my first Pfizer vaccination today. So far, no problems at all.

We got our first shots on Wednesday- arms were a bit sore, nothing more.

Got my second yesterday @ 310pm. I had a sore arm and felt sort of woozy this morning - then was fine by the afternoon. I didn’t get the fever, chills, etc. thankfully.

J&J's one-shot covid vaccine has been approved by the FDA for emergency use. So now, the US has three vaccines!

looks like New York numbers are similar, 13,3% have had the first dose, 8% have had both doses.

I had the first vax yesterday in a Disneyland parking lot. Moderna, no side effects yet. Vax #2 on Feb 22nd.

Had my second shot yesterday in the Anaheim Convention Center. No major side effects, just the expected bit of soreness at the injection site. DW gets her second dose on 3/11.

My brother is 77. He did not get the shot before contacting Covid. He was fine at first but his symptoms quickly worsened. Within two days, he is now on a respirator and has kidney failure. It's not looking good. He lives in Texas. Not sure why he wasn't able to get vaccinated before all this happened.

Very sorry to see this, I'm keeping your family in my thoughts.

I had made appointments at a Ride-Aid about 90 minutes away for my in-laws to get vaccines...my MIL had been calling around and was able to get them closer appointments at separate Giant Eagles (one 25 miles away, one 50 miles away), so they are set to go at this week. I'd been checking at Marc's locations near us and I would occasionally see appointments, but in the time it would take to confirm that my in-laws were available, the appointments were snatched up. This is wild. Hopefully their appointments this week go smoothly.

My dad who turned 67 today got his 1st moderna shot on Thursday and he is saying that his only side effect is a sore arm. Today, it was so sore that he can't even move it. Hope it goes away soon for him.

Same, l got my shot Friday evening. Saturday morning, sore arm, Saturday evening I couldn’t move it. Today it is sore, red and a visible knot but it is moving again. My dad was the same.

I got my 2nd Moderna shot this morning. About 9 hours in and I feel fine except my arm is sore and stiff. Hopefully that’ll be the extent of it but we will see. My husband is getting his first shot tomorrow at Walgreens. I feel so hopeful because I know quite a few people who are able to get it so that feels good!

My mom (67) and grandma (85) got their second pfizer vaccines on Saturday and had no side-effects, thankfully.

The teachers in our school district received shot #2 on Saturday. The district declared today a remote day in anticipation of too many teachers being out with side effects. I'm just glad they are getting it!!

Same! I kinda feel like we've broken through a wall and the rollout is truly rolling now. I know it is not as smooth in all states though. Add in the J&J, and we'll really be rolling!

Florida is expanding availability this afternoon to all police officers and firefighters of any age, and all school personnel over 50.

We also expect to receive 175,000 doses of J&J next week in addition to our allotment of Pfizer and Moderna.

I received my first dose of the Pfizer on Friday. The only side effect I had was a sore arm the next day. I'll be getting my next dose March 19th.
