I heard about the program here. I have tried numerous treadmill/fitness programs, but this one seems to work - mainly because it seems to be easy to stick to. You can do it with a treadmill or regular running. You can do it by measuring mileage or by measuring time. It really is flexible and I know for myself, I am for the first time seeing real fitness results. And I am only on week 3.
There are several very inspirational threads here on wish by people on the program. The titles have 'Couch to 5k' or 'C25k' in them.
This is the thread that inspired me to start. It was pretty inspirational to read how people started, only to see 5k clippies in their signatures.
