I did not write the whole book but I did have a story published in a book called

"Ninety-Nine Newfies"

Sort of a Chicken soup for the soul book but for Newfoundland dogs.

Currently her book is titled "Sugars Big Adventure". Its about her hamster.

Does high school count? I had to write a children's book for school. I don't remember what the name of it was, you couldn't buy it anywhere anyway. Hey, I got an A on it and that's all that matters.

I'm writing one right now. I've had magazine articles published and newspaper ones. No title yet.
Mystery Machine - there are several children's magazines written in whole or part by kids. You should look into having your dd's stories published. It is a great way to encourage a natural talent.

I've written user guides for computer software. Does that count? I wouldn't recommend reading any of them, unless you need help falling asleep.

I used to be an editor/staff writer at a magazine, so I've written lots of magazine articles. Most of them appeared in two magazines called PC TeachIt and PC CreateIt.

Not a book - but for the past 14 years I have written a monthly newspaper column. Does that count?

Plus I reguarly write newspaper stories and features in my capacity as a newspaper editor.

I haven't, but my mom is an author. She writes mostly historical fiction for middle grade readers, but adults love her work as much (or more) than kids do. Here's a link to her webpage.
