Have you ever worn your pajamas...

Have you worn your pajamas while taking your kids to the bus stop or school?

  • Yes, I do it all the time.

  • Yes, but only a couple of times.

  • No, but I might in an emergency.

  • No way! I wouldn't be caught dead in my pj's.

I'd get arrested if I wore mine, ifyouknowwhatimean. Not only that, my daughter would be 150% mortified, ifyouknowwhatimean.

Let's just say, that my pajamas are 39 years old. :lmao:

No, I don'tknowwhatyoumean...can you explain? :rotfl2: NOT!

Yes, I've done this. Sometimes with my coat over, but once with robe and slippers to the bus stop. I guess it's a good thing my neigbors and I all like each other. I've seen the other moms in their robes, too. :rotfl:

i used to do it all the time when my son was in grade school
i work nights and would wake up just before i had to go pick him up
roll out of bed-go get him
somedays i would make coffee before leaving the house

 I'm filing that under "TMI."

Hey, I could have told you that I want to do some alterations on my PJ's, but I didn't. Now that would have been TMI.

Just trying make y'all laugh, or maybe this: :scared:

None of this though, because that would just be sick:

I don't have kids but I sometimes take the trash out late at night in my jammies. I live in a townhouse and the trash goes accross the parking lot to an island for pick-up.

I have gone out to get the morning newspaper in my jammies, but that's a dash out and dash back in. And it's only when my DH is out of town and nobody else is around to get the paper. Thankfully I hate the neighbor on one side of me, the neighbor across the street is blind (and even if she wasn't, she's my friend and wouldn't care, anyway) and the other next door neighbor wouldn't think anything about it, even though the guy would tease me (but I would deserve it :teeth: ). BUT, we have a walking path at the end of our street so we never know who would be walking past our house. That would be the embarrassing part. :rotfl2:

It never fails that someone will drive in the parking lot when I am half way to the trash area, I try to hide between the cars if I am in a nightgown.

I usually drive DD16 to the bus stop in my pj's and bathrobe...it is still dark out some days when she leaves, so nobody sees me but her!

I think one time she missed the bus and I did drive her all the way to school in my pj's....I kept praying that I didn't get pulled over or in to an accident where someone might see my in my pj's!! :rotfl:

I drive a school bus and I'd much rather see ratty p.j.s on a parent than no parent at all. I HAVE seen some pretty wild looking outfits, lol!

The rule here is you MUST STAY IN THE CAR!! if you are wearing pajamas. I usually have to go straight to work after I take DS to school, but if I am off that day I wear my pajamas. But I don't get out of the car!! I assure you, there are PLENTY of moms at his school who DO get out of the car, and I am quick to point them out to DS! "See that woman! At least I don't get out of the car when I'm not dressed!"

I always keep in mind that I could get in an accident and have to get out of the car, so I always wear shoes and enough clothes that I wouldn't be ashamed to stand in an intersection wearing them. ;)

I have to drive across town (on I-95) and it's a 45 min RT, so I am always fully dressed. I also have to run errands, so would have to be dressed anyways.

I wear pajamas everywhere. some mornings I don't feel like getting dressed. :rotfl:

Seeing as I drop of DS at school on my way to work, that would be a big NO WAY!

I can be seen every evening walking my dog in my pajamas though. :teeth:

I do, but it's because I have to get up in the middle of my night to take the kids to school. I go right back to bed after I get home. There's something about putting on "real clothes" that tells my brain to wake up and makes it hard for me to go back to sleep.

If I haven't worked the night before, I drop the kids off and then go to Curves and run errands, so obviously I wear clothes for that ;)

Laurie :)

Since I sleep in lounge pants/sweats/shorts and a t-shirt, I don't see the problem, but I don't take him to the bus stop so I voted no.

I've been to WaWa in my pj's though.

ROFLMAO! I haven't BUT I knew what was coming next when I saw your title so I have considered it. LOL!

Yep every day! My jammies and my blue fuzzy slippers. Of course it's only like 2 blocks from home to school and back so no big deal. I think it would be worse if I picked them up in them though :rotfl2:

I get next week off as I'll be in Cozumel :cool1: speaking of which must go pack we leave in the morning
