Have you ever put something in the fridge and go back to get it and it has vanished?

Mom brought me over an italian sub yesterday from this real nice Italian market in town. She also picked up DH a cheese steak. These subs are pretty big for being half! DH ate all of his, and I ate "part" of mine. I wrapped it up and put it in the fridge! DH does not really like the italian subs. Anywho, I am busy all morning around the house, etc. I finished with my work, and headed up to take a nice shower. I told myself that when I got finished, I would have the rest of my sub for lunch!

I go to get it and it is missing! I search the whole fridge, thinking maybe DH had moved it! Do I call in for APB on my missing sub, do I give details of it? Yes officer, it was an italian hoagie, with prov. cheese, capicola, salami, let, tom. onion's, spice's with oil. That would be my sub!

Anywho, I called DH at work and ask him how his day was going? He was as happy as a lark! I asked him if my chance he knew anything about my sub, as it is missing! He said what sub. I said well what did you take for lunch today? He said you know I have no idea what I am having, he said you know the strangest thing happen this morning, Jamie (our beagle) made my lunch. I have no idea what she packed me!

So I ended up having a bologna and cheese sandwich!

Did you check your pantry??

Sometimes I find pantry stuff (like a box of crackers) in the refrigerator or refrigerator food (like a bag of carrots) in the pantry. I probably shouldn't shop in the evenings when I'm so tired....I don't know what I'm putting where.

I was gonna, but when he get's home, I am telling him that Jamie said that he is taking me out tonight for dinner!

Keeps happening to my Bryers Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. The culpret is my 12 yr not so DS. OK - he's a great kid when he's not finishing off my ice cream. Worked 'til 1 am last night on client's tax returns. Had been anticipating my ice cream reward since 9pm. Open the freezer it's no where to be found. I look behind everything - I've taken to hiding it. Look in the trashcan & there's the container. Yes, DS is still living here - for now.

DH and I got some Half & Half for my mother on Thanksgiving. We don't drink coffee, so we don't have that stuff around. We buy it the day before and when my mother asks for it, I say it's in the fridge. No, it isn't. DH and I look in the car (maybe it fell out of a bag). Not there. Nothing else is missing, so we didn't forget a bag at the store. We never found it. We still wonder where it is.

I think you should tell him that Jamie, being the amazing canine that she is, learned how to dial the phone and made you reservations....
