Have you ever met anyone famous??

I met Stone Cold Steve Austin at the Orlando Airport. I got a picture and an autograph in my disney autograph book.

I met Idina Menzel of Wicked and Rent on my b-day last year, we went backstage and everything. She's my idol, so it was very cool. I also met Harvey Firestein from Hairspray and Fiddler on the Roof. Very nice guy. At stage doors on Broadway, I've met Lea Salonga, Norbert Leo Butz, Patti LuPone (kind of), John Lingthow, and many more (stage doors are great places to meet celebs!) :)

I haven't really met anyone.. but

My DH has met George C. Scott, Tom Cruise, Sean Penn, Timothy Hutton as well as Bobby Clark and local Philly newspeople. The local Philly newspeople were his parents neighbors! (not really famous in big name famous)

My MIL (now passed on) was friends with Princess Grace of Monaco when she and the Princess were children. Apparently they went to summer camp and were neighbors when they were children!

I met James Brown at the Stage Deli when I was a kid!!!!!!!!! He was so nice - he even blessed me :) i still have the menu he autographed somewhere.

I didn't speak to thwm but I saw Kevin Nealon at the Dolphin and David Shwimmer in Old Montreal.

My DS and I met James Marsters and Adam Naldwin this summer
The drummer for the Bare Naked Ladies lives on the street next to me.

That should be Adam Baldwin(Jyane from Firefly)
Does anyone remember the group Glass Tiger from the 80"S

I forgot that I literally bumped into Bruce Springsteen on Sept 12, 2001 in Red Bank, NJ. His wife was shopping in the same store as us and she called out "Brucie..I need you"  and as he walked in the store, I was walking out and just bumped into him! He was very nice!

Still doesn't top my Sean Astin meeting......

I do! I liked them back in the mid 80's- I think they had 2 hits over here?

I have met quite a few famous people while I was a Nanny. :earboy2: One of my "old" bosses has been on TV with the surgery he has done on former Pres. Clinton.

Tracy 1974
My son is best friends and grew up with the son of the lead singer in Glass tiger
Every time he is over to the house will still sing the songs it drives him mad

"Don't forget me when I'm gone...."

Ha ha! That is a good song! I just saw them this summer on that Hit Me Baby One More Time show- they did a good job!

I've met about half the cast of the British Sci-fi series DR who and and friends with Elisabeth Sladen(Sarah Jane) from the show and Rob Shearman who writes for the current Series. I've met Wrestler Bill GOldberg.. Sissy from Family Affair ,Jeff Conaway from Grease and Taxi,Erin Grey from Silver Spoons and Buck Rogers Marina Sirtis and Gates McFadden from Star Trek.MIchael Sheard from The EMpire Strikes back... I've met lots of lower profile people, but not any of the really big names

Mickey Mouse
Minnie Mouse
Donald Duck
Goofy
Pluto
Cinderella
Prince
Belle
Snow White
7 dwarfs
Chip & Dale

....... and so many other's! hey I've got picture's to prove it :teeth: To think I paid thousands of dollars and keep going back to see them! :earboy2:

I met Michael Landon when I was a little girl. He autographed my Little House on the Prairie book.

On my honeymoon, I met Debbie Reynolds in Las Vegas. I even got to have a personal visit with her. DH and I were the youngest people at her show, and she couldn't believe that someone as young as we were (way back in the early 90's) knew any of her work. She was truly amazed that I knew all the words to "Tammy."

My best claim to fame was that I dated Benjamin Bratt for one summer. We were both actors at a regional summer theater, and we hooked up. He was completely unkknown, back then, and he went by "Jamin". He was really nice, and treated me like gold the whole summer.

Same here. They are the most exciting ones I have ever met. I also met Senator Percy, and the "old" Bozo the clown Cookie the clown and Wizzo. Wew!!! What an exciting life I have led. :rotfl2:

We were neighbors with Walter Payton and his wife Connie when he first started with the Bears. He was an incredibly nice man, it was so sad when he died.

People I met at work years ago:

Diahann Carrol--nice but not overly nice
John Madden-VERY nice
MacLean Stevenson-total jerk, he really made me mad
Elvira Mistress of the Dark--nice and actually very normal

I met Donny Osmond after a performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He was very nice, talked to me for about 10 minutes and signed my CD. Then he introduced me to his GORGEOUS son who was about 21 at the time.

Back in the 70's I used to babysit for some of the Cubs. If anyone remembers them they were Rick Monday, Randy Hundley and Don Kessinger.

I am not too much into celebrities. I did meet Tom Selleck once  Having a senior moment, the man who played Gilligan, came up and introduced himself to me in vegas. I did meet Dick Cheney when we were both young :rolleyes1 Know Leona Helmsley, still receive a Christmas card from her.

My daughter and I rode the tram in the Denver airport with Ben Stein. He made a comment about how she couldn't keep her eyes off of me (she was only 3-months-old and had big blue eyes). I was so afraid of saying something dumb to him that of course I said something dumb and was embarrassed. He was very nice, just like a regular guy. I also innocently struck up a conversation with Albert Pujols at Chuck E. Cheese's a few years ago. He was there with his wife and kids, and our kids were kind of playing together, so I started talking to him like parents will do, and didn't think anything of it. Later my sister came over and demanded to know what I was saying to Albert Pujols. I have to admit I had no idea who he was. I'm clearly not a big sports fan. ;)

Fleetwood Mac, Pablo Cruise, Foreigner, Bob Welch, A bunch of Buffalo Sabres, I think that's all.
