I went out and picked all my apples (my trees were falling over with the weight) so now I have 30 apples to do something with AFTER my double batch of apple crisp

They are not real sweet so I would like to make some more applesauce with them.

Im trying to figure out a way to make them without peeling them, theyre really small so its a pain the rear to peel them all.

Does anyone know how I would do this?

TIA

Do you have a food mill/ricer? I always make my applesauce using my food mill, and never peel the apples. You just throw them in after cooking them, and turn the handle. Only the apple goes through the strainer, skins, seeds, etc stay in the top. You do need to clean it out now and then while making it, otherwise it gets too clogged up.

LOL MB!! ;)

Thank BK Thats what I was looking for! I thought I could do it but wasnt sure how they taste with the peel left on. Do you know how much liquid I should put in there pot? My brother said to use Cider instead of water.
