Have you ever lost your watch?

I've lost mine, searched the house & cars today but no luck.

I'm so careful with my things and can only imagine it's fallen off whilst I've been out.

I checked the garbage, freezer, dishwasher, fridge & even the washing machine, just in case!

I'm really sad because DH gave it to me.

Any ideas where I could look still?

Check places where it may have fallen, in bags from shopping? In your purse? Under sheets/pillows/cushions.

Check the car again. Check way deep under the seats. Check the glove box. Check in all your dresser drawers. You may have taken it off and not realized it.

I hope you find it.

Yep! My last one I lost between exiting the monorail and getting through the MK turnstiles. It never was found.

I once lost a fairly expensive watch, my then boyfriend (now husband) had given it to me. I lost it at a public park where we went with the sailboat, 1/2 hour away from home.

I went back the next day to look and amazingly I found it on the ground, right near the porta-potty

I was very lucky to find it back again!

If you have animals or a small child, look in your shoes. My daughter has hidden items in there before...one being my watch.

my best friend got a really nicewatch from his wife f or christms last yera, lost it this summer at a remote broadcast from our loical port , covering a fishing tournament, looked every where,, no avail,,, his dw went out and hunted and huntewd till she found him one just like it for fathers day,,, the next day,, his partner at the broadcast was back at the port,, and while walking back to his car actually kicked bf's watch up out of the grass,, still working ,, now he has 2 that are exactly alike

I have lost many watch before, and as a matter of fact, I have lost another one about 3 months ago. I have yet to find the others, so I just bought me a new one. I don't buy real expensive ones cause I know I will loose them.

I am sorry that you lost or misplace your watch that your husband gave you. I am sure it is very special to you. I hope you will find it. Good luck in your seaching.

I've never had a watch or sunglasses (for that matter) that I haven't lost....Now, i use my cel phone to figure out what time it is...and YES, I have misplaced it also, luckily you can call it to find it....

My parents had given me a watch for my grade 12 graduation, not really expensive, but had a lot of sentimental value (especially now that my dad has been gone for 12 years). I was having an allergic reaction one day, and my hands and wrists had started to swell up, so I took my watch off, and put it in my coat pocket. Well, it fell out when I pulled my gloves out of my pocket, and of course, I didn't realize it at the time. When I figured out that it was missing, I had a pretty good idea where it was, and what had happened. I went back to the parking lot where I thought it might be, and lo and behold, there it was. Unfortunately, it had been run over and was in a number of pieces. And to top it off, I'm pretty sure it was me that had driven over it, since it was a pretty remote parking spot. I picked it up, and it is still in my jewellery box - beyond repair, but at least I still have it.

Belle 2003 - I hope you have better luck finding your watch in working order.

Yes. My son was two years old at the time, and buried it in the soil of one of my Ivy plants. I found it a few months later after I had bought a new one to replace it.

Watch?!? What is a watch? It's been so long since I worn one I'm not sure what one is. I have a pretty good sense of time even without one.

The last one I lost was lost for over a year! I was at the Mall of America with my mom, sister and two oldest kids. I remember having it on there and then taking it off at one point. I thought I had put it in my purse and then it fell out or something. A year later, I was cleaning out our front hall closet getting ready for our garage sale. I found this small diaper bag which we hadn't used for a long time because we had another baby and were using the big one. I noticed there was some stuff in there, pack of kleenex, some wet-naps, some vaseline, so I was cleaning it out and in the side pocket, I found my watch! Now, at the time I lost it, DS was still in diapers, but he got potty trained shortly after that trip, so we hadn't needed it anymore. I was so excited that I found it because my parents gave it to me for Christmas only 3 months before I lost it!!
