your clothes do NOT match??? I got dressed in semidarkness..new pants. I could have SWORN they were more BROWN, but in the light of day they are a greenish gold with black flecks. I had on a BEIGE sweater...HORRIBLE! My mom would have been horrified! lol
I realized this at the bus stop, too late! So I stopped on the way to work to buy a sweater.

I've owned that color pair of pants 2 or 3 times in my life.
it looks brown inside...and more baby-poop-green in other ligths.

beige/cream/black is probably the only color that goes with it!

one time - I wore 1 brown shoe and 1 black shoe to work...I realized it when I was in line at the dunkin donuts around the corner from my office. I looked down, MORTIFIED, left the line...drove home, and changed. Funny - they were different heel heights and I never noticed.

Well, I've worn two different color shoes before. I tend to buy all my dress shoes in the same style--different colors. Black and navy blue look VERY similar at 6:45 a.m. ;)

Hopefully the rest of your day will go better!

I have been known to wear two different shoes....

Not me (yet) but I almost pee'd my pants when my g/f came to work, on the day after her 30th b-day, with one black shoe, one brown...

She had the same style in both colors....and just slipped them on, on the way our the door and never looked down.

I used this moment to relentlessly tease her, about her age, and alzeimhers (forgot you put on brown, and then put on black, huh?), and eyesite issues... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

That sounds really mild to me -- you must be young! I've done the shoe thing and I came to work with one black trouser sock and one navy one on just last week . . .

A few years ago I was at work and everytime I walked it felt funny.. like one leg was a little shorter than the other.. About halfway thru the day I realized that I had 2 different shoes on!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: They were both black but the heels were different!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm ALWAYS afraid of the shoe thing because my low black and brown shoes are the same style. I try to keep the pairs VERY seperate in the closet.

I did go into work a couple weeks ago not matching. I was wearing these cute pinstriped khakis and I had on a GAP striped sweater, which was fine, except the bottom stripe was a camel-ish color that did NOT go with the khaki. It looked horrible. I tried to stay seated behind my desk when anyone was in the office.

Luckily I can wear jeans, khaki's everyday. I try to wear nice tops and one day, I realized I had my shirt on inside-out.

One of my co-workers comes to work in sweats, yuck, now that is why to casual even for me. She claims she don't fit in any of her clothes.

I think she needs to buy new ones then!

I have never exactly not matched. But I have walked out of the house wearing too many colors at once.

For example: Tan pants, a purple and green shirt, a white and black sweater, and white and blue sneakers. I don't know what I was thinking when I looked in the mirror and thought it was a great choice. :crazy2:

yep - I have done the whole one brown shoe one black shoe. That is the problem with buying the same style just different colors. :rotfl2: I also have a black pair of pants and a navy pair of pants in the same style and unless you hold them up together you can't tell which one is which. That can be trouble.

I left the house once and realized the reason I was so comfortable was because I still had on my slippers. Needless to say I turned around and never spoke of the slippers to my co-workers who would have teased me relentlessly.
