Have you ever fallen out of bed?

I think for me once , I was on pgl which was a weekend away with school and I was in bed and I rolled off the bed onto the suitcase below.

No, but once decades ago I was dreaming about falling out of bed, woke up in the middle and was actually rolling out of bed, but was able to stop myself.

I’ve since wondered if the dream was due to my starting to roll out of bed, or did I start to roll out of bed due to the dream.

I was in a deep sleep and suddenly woken up by doing a somersault and landing on my butt.

Even though I was groggy, I remember laughing hysterically at myself and then DH woke up and started laughing too.

I used to all the time when I was little, and I had the top bunk of a bunk bed! That was always a fun way to wake up, especially if I missed the rug and hit the hardwood floor.

Yeah, once when I had to go pee in the middle of the night. I was closer to the edge of the bed than I realized and when I scooted over I fell on my butt.

Yes. I think I was 8 or 9 and had spent the night at my grandparents house and I remember that I was laying on the opposite side of the bed as I usually would for some reason and rolled out of bed and whacked my head on a glass bedside table which did cut my forehead. My grandpa the constant worrier insisted on removing the table lol.

Yep, but I'm not 100% sure honey didn't push me out in his sleep. He tends to move all around the bed and sprawls so I end up sleeping right on the edge. I woke up on the floor one night so not sure if I fell or he pushed me. I'm going with he pushed me since another night he sat straight up in bed leaned over and slapped me and laid right back down. All while asleep and the next morning swore he had no memory of what he was dreaming. I was so shocked I didn't have time to react before he laid back down, otherwise he would have ended up on the floor that night.

I think you’re sleeping with my DH, lol. I’ve learned to react in my sleep so I haven’t actually fallen just kind of slid out while landing in a crouched position. He’s given me a fat lip with the flailing. Once we woke up with me grasping his arm as it was coming towards my head. Between that and the snoring I end up on the couch if I want any sleep.

I fell out of the top bunk when I was a kid. I don’t really remember that actual fall, just my mom fussing over me in her bed. It was a every other weekend visit situation so I wasn’t used to sleeping in a bunk bed.

Twice as a kid that I remember - once off the top bunkbed. I have caught myself from falling off a couple of times as an adult.
