Have you ever done this while shopping.....

I bought some pants the other night at Target. I couldn't find any shoes from Target to go with them. I'm going to the mall tonight to get some shoes, but would like to see them with my pants. Is it weird to bring the pants with me to the mall? Can I put them in a target shopping bag? I don't really have anything else to put them in. They won't fit in my purse.

Yes, I've done this...especially with a hard to match colour! I just make sure I take my receipt with me, that way if there is any question, I can prove that I paid for them! Also, I keep the tags on the item till I'm completely done shopping! Good luck!

Sure! When I worked at Nordstrom, people brought in various parts of their outfits to match jewelry, hosiery or shoes. Bring it! It will be much easier than having to return anything that doesn't fit.

I've done this before too. It is certainly easier (and cheaper) than buying a few pairs of shoes and having to return all but one pair.

I don't think that's a big deal at all. I'd maybe just keep the tags on them and bring the receipt along, but I say got for it!!

OK good! I still have the tags on and the receipt. I don't get rid of those until I've worn the item because I'm notorious for changing my mind.

I also don't remove tags until I've worn it, I even pin the receipt on the clothing while it waits for my ultimate approval.

Me too - only many times I lose the receipt. I like the idea mentioned here of pinning it to the item!!
