Have you ever done something that would shock your neigbors?

When you see some stories on the news, the neighbors are always being interviewed and they all say the same thing. "We lived next to ___________ for years and had no idea>"

Just wondering if you have ever done anything that no one outside your house knows that might shock them if they ever found out.

DP and I have, but this is a family board so I won't share.

I'm Pagan, and I do a lot of my rituals on the Sabbats out in my backyard. We had someone call the police when I was doing a ritual once, it was really, REALLY funny when the cop showed up.. and he was Pagan too

Haha, thank you. It was hilarious, actually. The reason the person called was the small fire I had going (in one of those metal firepit things, if that makes sense). I'd called the local FD to let them know I'd have a fire going and that I'd have a hose nearby. The policeman came back, talked to me for a second, then went and talked to the neighbor. Then he came back and did his own small ritual . It was great!

I can't think of anything I've done that would shock my neighbors. I grew up living next door to a convicted pedophile and never knew it until I was an adult. We were friends with his daughters, would play together in each other's yards all the time, but we were never allowed inside their house. All those years my mom just thought the mother was snooty because they were more well off than we were. Later we found out about the sex crime, and it all made sense then. I felt horrible for the mother and daughters having to live with the shame of that.
