yes .. spring of 1978 McDonald's came to the rolling grass seed fields of Silverton, Oregon ... an all day event for just a few free burgers and paper hat... same year the garbage can bank was issued ... bought one in case I didn't win an Oscar

For 20 years I chased them in Western Oregon following weather man directions but always failed...so I am swimming in my Yuma pool in the darkness and I see a pink glow to the north.. thought the valley behind the mountain was on fire...come to find out those northern lights
