Our trip is just around the corner. We are planning on really taking it easy and relaxing this time. Since we are staying at the BC we wanted to just do Epcot and MGM (we will make up for this in Sept).

Has anyone ever not done the MK and not missed it????

Yup. I've been there a number of times and not done MK. Seems almost a crime not to do MK, but in all honesty I still have a fantastic time!

No, never miss MK, missed MGM or AK or EPCOT but never MK!::yes::

NEVER! Of course I am the kind of person who has to do everything - every ride, every show, I mean everything.... No wonder DH thinks he needs a vacation after we return home from vacation!

My husband and I would like to go without the kids for a few days, and in that case would not plan on doing MK. I like MK, but there really aren't many things that I would want to do there without kids, at least not enough to want to spend the time getting there.

We have been to WDW several times in the past few years and have skipped MK each time. We live a hop, skip and jump away from TDL and find that it is similar. We probably will not go on our next trip either just because we are only there for 4 days during the New Years holiday before our cruise and we love Epcot.

We've never missed MK. We are planning on skipping MGM and AK during our next trip though but we'll have an 11 year old with us.

Sorry, I could never miss MK. I don't feel like I'm "really" in WDW until I see Cinderella's Castle from the top of Main Street. *sigh*

We must go to every park, just missing one disney park would be like sheer torture to me. Yes, we have to see and do everything. It wouldnt be a disney vacation unless we did it all. Its also part of my marypoppinslike addiction. Everything must be perfect in every way. At easter we did all 4 parks and the 2 water parks and dd.

I can't imagine skipping MK!! Or EPCOT for that matter. I could skip MGM or AK and not feel bad about it though. Can't you just pop in MK for one evening or something?? (LOL-I act as if it makes a difference to ME if YOU go to MK or not!!:p) Have fun either way, I'm sure you will! :)

We did but we were only there for 1 day and didnt do any of the 4 parks. We did however stay at the Poly and were able to see the castle. That was my MK fix. ;)

I did! I took my DD (then 2.5) after three days of being in Grandma and Grandpa's very un-child friendly house for Grandpa's funeral. We both needed to run around and let off some steam so we went to AK and to BB and TL. What a blast! My DH had made me promise that I wouldn't take her to MK without him, so she and I took a ride around the monorail loop and really enjoyed ourselves.

I don't think that I could ever do it again, though!

Erin :D

We personally have not skipped MK on any trip. This July we are going to only plan on spending one day in a park (3 nights at WDW before heading to Vero Beach) and the park I want to go to is MK! I hate to miss the others, but to me Disney just isn't Disney without a stop to MK! If nothing else is accomplished, I want to see Wishes!

I've done it on field trips but everytime I didn't plan on going to MK during my last couple trips I did anyway. It just felt weird not seeing the castle, Main Street, etc.! I didn't go into MK last week when I went to visit the resorts but did go on MK property though. Saw fireworks, castle and everything from a distance (CR observation deck).
